Any of you guys play Degrees of Lewdity +?
Saw that mod is supposed to add more depth to the combat and such but I wasn't sure if it broke anything.

Keep Dolp saves separate from Vanilla saves, you can use your vanilla save to continue from your base game progress in Dolp. Just don't load Dolp saves in base game.
I do, so far I did not encounter any bug.
It does add quite a lot of stuff but I suggest reading their wiki because a lot of changes are not really explained in game and even when they are the explanation is rather vague or not helpful at all.
I prefer the combat in DoL+.

Is it possible to make an undesirable character? Like, an in-universe ugly character that most people will ignore or back off when trying to take advantage of? I think it would be fun to make a character who has to try to get some action.
I tried this once, it's quite limited. You can make a masc character, then make all NPCs not attracted to men - or the opposite.
Most assailants will just bludgeon you until you pass out. You can build a brawny character and use DoL+ settings to trivialize combat, avoiding the allure increases from negative fame.
Your beauty still goes up with time whenever you end a day with low stress and trauma. This is hard to control.
You can still get raped, especially in the nonrandom events.
Without allure, your seduction attempts will fail, and the DoL+ tacked on reverse rape feature is quite buggy.
Ultimately found it uninteresting, because there isn't any sexual content in the game for characters like this, and it turns into a brawling simulator.
Yeah, kinda. Wear unflattering/unrevealing clothes, don't be covered in fluids, keep your hair short, avoid transformations, and don't go out at night are some of the easy ways to keep Allure low temporary wise.
The long term stuff is managing your Fame well. You get some Allure gains for lewd Fames, but you can get massive decreases for non lewd fame. I think maxing out the non lewd Fames can allow you to permanently keep your Allure at start of the game levels. If you don't manage your Fame well, by about a year into a run, you'll be running into sex encounters pretty much every move on the map and will barely be able to play the game. It's hella obnoxious even if you're into being harassed.
Way to do that easily is to get some negative Fame high enough (Recognised) that the Pub will allow you to alter your Fame with Mickey's help. Sooner you start, the better, because there's a cooldown on taking missions and the permanent changes arent huge. Exhibitionist is the easiest/safest negative Fame for that (It's also a way to easily boost Modelling Fame with Niki's photography, so you can raise a positive Fame at the same time). Combat, Business, Kindess, Social, Modelling are the positive ones you want to raise. Max Beauty adds like 3.5k Allure, each max positive Fame decreases it by 1k, so you only need around 3-4 to offset the guaranteed increases.
Of course you should also be wearing a mask for lewd stuff, and not wearing one for the positive events.

Is there a way to view events or stuff I haven't done yet. I see a lot of cool stuff in the changelog but its pain to go through all that. Is there a list in game somewhere?

Biggest wish would be being able to choose your tone in encounter dialogue independent of the submissiveness of your actions. Y'know be mocking or bratty while still going along with it. If you choose to handle encounters through the path of least resistance, you're inevitably railroaded into a tremulous little blob with no spunk.

Kind of a bummer how everyone in the town is a two-pump-chump and just cuts the encounter immediately after they cum.
the player character has multiple turns of orgasm and yet the npcs just zip up and walk away the first turn they blow?
Kinda sucks, like, my male character almost has to in the arousal sweet spot to have any chance of busting inside someone. I wish the npcs could be convinced to go another round or maybe have multiple orgasm rounds like the player does.

You can edge NPCs at 4+ awareness and high promiscuity to keep them from cumming too early. And NPCs going for multiple rounds is something that's been floated around for a while, it might become a thing.

Honestly though as the combat currently is longer encounters would be absolutely brutal without massive balancing. Too much damage to control and such to have to deal with a lot of that considering how those mechanics work. The only way i could see drastic changes to the system would be with a massive overhaul.
