Is there any difference between the Save to File/Load from File actions on the Save tab and the Export/Import tab of the saves screen? They seem to do the exact same thing except they name the save files differently but I don't trust it.

I also play with DoT Plus, which I think is a merger of two different mod expansions; how would I install/get those?

Also, it's a fun game, but why the hell is the progression so slow? I'm like 10 hours in, and my damn Seduction Skill is still F. Item prices are a bit ridiculous too (I don't understand why new beds cost $1,600)

1. Actively maintained mods like DoLP (the version of the game that you just linked) usually wait until all the hotfixes are out until they update. DoLP is only one update behind, and it only came out a week ago and it's the holidays, so it might be a little longer until it's updated.

2. If you export your save, then yes. But saves from modded versions of the game like the one you've been playing may not import safely into other mods or a non-modded version of the game.

3. You have to actually use your skills to increase them. I suspect that there are several actions that you believe should increase your seduction skill which actually do not. Soliciting at e.g. the pub will increase your seduction.

take risks. get out of town. there's no permanent bad ends, so be brave to occasionally lose, let go, and submit to the fate.

no difference, they are doing the same exact thing, just with less clicks

I know, but they raise at garbage speed. Flirting with anyone (even the Tavern) only raises my Seduction by literally +1%. I'm like 10 hours into my save, and I still have Seduction F, which isn't high enough to win any skill check. Then there's Skulduggery, which is fast at the beginning of the game, but as soon as you hit Skulduggery F+ it's progression permanently drops to +3% to attempt, even if you bought a lockpicking set.

Then there's school; taking the classes is a great way to progress your knowledge until I think B, where it only gives +3% per lesson and at Rank A going to school sometimes gives +0% or +1% if your lucky, making it a worthless section of the game. I think it's also stupid that your expected to attend Detention EVERY day, even if you didn't do something wrong. Then there's all the times people will permanently steal or destroy your clothes, even though there's a repair system, but nope your clothes disintegrated for absolutely no reason! It's like the game wants to you suffer, and wasn't programmed for fun.

I understand it should take effort to raise the skills, but it's a terribly stupid chore, especially when you have to give up precious time you barely have for something that gives you almost nothing in return. The Lewd Stats are all almost as stupidly slow. The Sexual Stats "can" raise fast, but only if your using the gloryhole at the Brothel; I don't understand why that 1 second interaction is significantly faster than the actual 3 to 10 minutes long sex mini-game. You'd think actually having sex would improve your Sexual stats faster

I like the game, but it seems balanced to make people rage. The entire skill system needs a revamp; the game is way too god damn tryhard most of the time. I shouldn't have to invest 20 hours into a single character, just to make then successful at ONE aspect of the game, like seduce someone.

Well, you gotta suck it up. This game is a fair bit long-term in how long things take, and you won't become master seductress in a week.

The school skills are pretty useful. School grades are one of the feat boosts available, if you wanna kickstart something in a new game. And yea, you gotta put in work for good grades. It will come eventually if you at least just keep up the three study opportunities as the game suggests, the stars are a bit of a bonus at the end of the day. So far your entire complaint has been your own impatience.

No you don't? You only have to go to detention if you gain deliquency that day. Unless DoLP changes something about that, you are doing something wrong, every day. Alternatively, tat is a criticism of the mod that does not apply to the base game.

Somewhat annoying? Sure, but rage? That's way out of proportion. Perhaps your experience was also negatively altered by playing it modded before you were familiar with the vanilla game.
Grab one of those all feat saves and make a character with all the boosts you want. That is also an option.

you won't become master seductress in a week.

you can literally 0 to max seduction w/o cheats, mods or reloads by the end of second game day, and that's without skipping the school. just dress like potato and spam flirt and seduction at the bar, and refuse the drinks (unless you're low on promiscuity, then take a couple until seduction option appears). if you're too pretty and have a risk actually passing the seduction check - be sure to only seduce annoyed and married people, and demand lots of money so you don't have to go through the actual encounter.

wear a monocle to school and always prio the lessons. add the monocle to your pyjamas set, sleep with it. rent a book in the library, steal another one. even with grade A skills, you'll have ~33% chance to pass the exam within a week, and that's without extracurricular studies.

you either did do something wrong (like spelling "your" instead of "you're") or skipped attending it, otherwise detention is not mandatory. even then, there's plenty of ways to skip detention or even make it completely optional.

that's game's subtle way of getting the player to engage in sudden exhibitionist activity. don't want that - buy sturdier and less slutty clothes, and either don't piss off the assaulters, git gud at fighting them off, or avoid the areas where screaming will not auto-end the encounter. enable auto-rebuy, clothes are cheap. stealing clothes is a thing if you're bad at money. get handout school uniforms from head teacher if you're bad at stealing.

so don't set yourself a goal to have S in all lewd skills if they are so useless. there's barely any content locked behind high lewd skills, and they'll raise on their own if you're actually playing the game instead of trying to min-max a superslut.

The brothel virginity show? As you would the other shows, except you need the sum of your prostitution, sex, and rape fame to be above 100. This isn't very high though.

It also needs to be possible for the PC to lose their virginity during a normal human encounter. For example, if the PC and NPCs all have penises and no vaginas, and anal is disabled, losing virginity is impossible and the option for the show is unavailable.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a bug afoot.

No, you have to dive a little deeper and search the pots in the next underwater area until you find a bronze key, then you will be able to unlock the plinth room. I'm not sure that the rune on the side of the sunken temple serves any purpose beyond world building.

is there a way to get permanent marker off? everytime i start a new game the first things i play with is all the settings
i disabled the being writtin on by markers,etc BUT yet i still get writtin on and tired of restarting new games

You can disable or adjust bodywriting in the fetish settings. Permanent marker should vanish after some days. I dont think you can wash it off.
