The game is dark enough as is, and obviously it looks like Vrelnir draws a line there, so all we have to do is to respect their vision. I'm sure the eventual mods will change that, for those who desire that level of roughness.

Did Vrelnir draw a line for Blood too? Because there is simply none in the game. Assuming that even after NPCs slap or punch you in the face, there is only pain and tears but no blood at all. Also after tearing your hymen there is no blood either.. as others pointed out, if you use lube and proper methods, most women don't bleed after losing virginity but having it rough and dry (like in the game) should most definitely result in blood after first penetration.

I think the author does self-censorship pretty well, while keeping things dark and leaving rest to our imagination.

Not sure, are you selecting such an option? Sometimes there is one to change positions.. its the first option in the combat menu usually.

Or.. you can keep your character in maximum pain and then go for the gangbang.. there shouldn't be any resistance then.

part of me wish he would've made it less scripted and more free to do whatever you want with little to no restrictions.

i was hoping for something similar to an open life sim where you can work your way to romance or get into both healthy or unhealthy relationship with all the named NPCs in the game.
their vision of whats available has way too much scripted long tedious filler that feels like a chore without much or any pay off.

his NPCs & world build up looks like a mess.
there's too meany cook, its the same problem that the " my new life" game had.

My guy, guro isn't a main focus of this game and never will.
Ryona sure but gory stuff? Heck nah.
We will always be on the defensive, that's their vision for this game and believe me man, I tried my best to at least change it but they're doubling down on that.

not everyone wants animal fucking pissing or impregnation and implied lolicon/shotacon content but ignore it anyway because the game mechanics allows you to forget those aspects and fetishes exist in game, and whats wrong with wanting a darker life sandbox?

I mean in real life if your in that dire straits you can choose to submit or join a gang, get in a rough crowd and be defiant. defiant in this game is really toothless because it depends on someone engaging in combat with you which 50 percent of fights are like this, what about the teens who aren't right due to circumstance who join gangs and peddle drugs and beat the shit out of people looking at them funny? maybe even shoot them if their on a rival gang? Whitney bullies you and its implied at some point she's a victim of circumstance as well. her mere existence as a bully to the pc, indicates to me there's room for the pc to be more active.

the point is it feels so one sided, yes some people if placed in dire straits would roll over and give up the fact the other option actually fucking rebelling and maybe adding ways to end opponents in a deadly manner makes the game limited in feeling.

its like the dev looked at one side of trauma and dealing with it and thought that is how every victim of trauma deals with trauma by taking the freeze option. when that isn't the case, some people become traumatized and turn around dish out more trauma to others.

if your running a sandbox game based on human misery its very important to give options for to player to deal with that misery, even if the other option is spreading it around. people have expressed wanting to be more dominant in certain interactions and while by default the game is a rape simulator and the dev said that he tried to emulate what a rape victim might feel in terms of game mechanics, he refuses to entertain the possibilities for alternative options. there fore I feel like his approach to it is shallow and fetishized, it can only really be balanced by adding the ability to instigate shit. other wise just stop saying your trying to emulate trauma in a way that is comparable to what might happen in real life.

simply call it a rape simulator and be done with it. It'd be a less of an issue if it wasn't a virtue signal by the dev to say "my game mechanics try to represent how a traumatized person might deal with the same situation." no full stop because I would be literally going to baileys office beating the shit out of bailey until they're a bloody pulp daily, selling drugs to school kids on oxford street and trying to undermine both the police and briar after getting stronk enough if you chose to represent trauma accurately.

in the process of making of drug dealer and financial overhaul mod also trying to make it more americanized but it won't be in completion until a month after preg update because even on preg test dev mode it's breaking everything.

You are overthinking this, its not some kind of hypocricy or like major morality issue that is a reason for gore not coming here... its just a major mood killer for the vast majority of the people. People just don't wanna work on it. I got some weird niche fetishes too, but you need some self awarness, realize how niche of a thing this is. Wouldn't care if it was optional toggle, but I completely understand them just not wanting to include it. Life sims do not need to be 100% realistic, this shit is the reason why Accidental woman needed 50 000 patches to start resembling a game, realism alone is an absolute worst reason to include any game mechanic.

There is one very mild, barely noticable, piss scene that was written by a guest writer, and animal fucking has been a central part of the game since the early days. Another problem with gore is that it would have to be integrated into the combat system. If you want to talk about toggling it on and off, it would involve breaking the combat system into two fully-functional mechanics--one with gore and another without. Considering that the combat system is integrated into nearly every other mechanic in the game, that would be a Pandora's Box. Dedicating the development time that would require to one fetish--one that didn't top every poll that Vrelnir has ever conducted--is a bad idea.

The game is not really hard to mod if you want that kind of stuff. Even some abandoned stuff is still here to facilitate, like the bruise system is fully implemented since several versions but does nothing at the moment. I think it was planned to display the bruises on the PC but that must have been when Vrelnir drew that red line.

Also vaginal parasitic pregnancy was also added in the dev version, finally
