While it's been that way for a while, I feel like Morgan could do with a few changes. Specifically, you're only formally introduced to Morgan the first time you descend into the Sewers via the Manhole, but if you never entered through this way and entered through the Smuggler's Cave, you'll still have Morgan occasionally chasing after you but as far as the PC is concerned it's just some weird sewer dweller that's doing so. You could be entering the Sewers through the Smuggler's Cave for an entire year, but until you first descend into the Sewers via the Manhole, you won't get the formal first introduction to Morgan.

Maybe this should be changed to such that because the PC wasn't aware of Morgan, the first time they enter the Sewers via the Smuggler's Cave, they literally walked into them? Then from then on with the PC being aware of Morgan, it'll be as normal via the Smuggler's Cave. Perhaps the first descent via the Manhole could then instead be changed to still slipping on the ladder and falling with a loud sound, but because the PC was already aware of Morgan, immediately gets to hiding (with a mention that the PC knows from now to be more careful with the slippery ladder).

Except the angel TF does allow you to have sex and the anal 'exception' is part of that? You can have quite a lot of sex actually if you know how to manage your purity.
Quite true, I unlocked 307 vrel coin and earned lots of "traits" while being 100% pure :p on this first game of mine. I have also collected all love interest except Eden. Now I just need to cook them their favorite food for the feats before I start a new game aiming for demon TF.

Sex of the worst kind? Poinltess, nonsensical limitations. At least give the players the option to customize it, like so many other things can be. Bloody simple to implement.

"but that about the temple"? Irrelevant. The Angel TF doesn't have to have any connection to what the temple believes.

Another little nitpick, regarding Mickey - if the PC's Exhibitionism is high enough that they can go into the Orphanage Main Hall completely naked in the middle of the night and you choose to 'Find Hacker' while naked, the dialogue still has it that the PC knocks on a few doors first still (because Orphans sometimes move rooms), before finding Mickey themselves as normal. Despite it being a completely naked pervert knocking doors in the middle of the night in the Orphanage - though it could be excused that it's dark enough that they can't see that you're naked, you'd think the Orphans would not appreciate random people knocking their doors in the middle of the night, let alone a naked one.

That aside, the dialogue after finding Mickey still proceeds as if the completely naked PC had clothes on, with Mickey demanding the PC to strip off their 'clothes' into a clothes basket, then later return the clothes basket to the PC who 'puts their clothes back on', despite being completely naked all this time.

Maybe Mickey should instead refer to the PC's Exhibitionism Fame for the first encounter - being 'totally surprised' if the PC had no or low fame, with higher fame moving more towards 'I had heard that you walked around naked' to 'everyone in the orphanage knows about your exhibitionism', perhaps even hinting that they've even seen the PC doing so, and if Sex/Prostitution fame is also high, they could also wonder aloud whether the PC is doing so hungry for sex or had become so desperate that they're even trying to whore money out of fellow orphans as well. But ultimately, they'd also hint that they could help deal with their high 'negative' fame, if only the PC would first help them out by doing three things for them... (start the standard part of getting Mickey with Landry thing). Mayhaps this whole thing could be an addition to even the normal sequence of events (clothed PC looking for Mickey) if their negative fame is already high, rather than requiring Landry to prompt it all (which would also change that part to Landry just saying 'you might've already heard from Mickey' regarding 'fixing' the PC's fame).

Tried searching around in the wiki, the thread, and even in the game's code, but found very little on this - does anyone know how to get the 'magic tattoo'? (the tattoo that allows MPreg without the ear slimes)

Only thing that I've been able to hypothesize is that the machines, like the ones at the dock is related (when it has a tattoo gun), but haven't managed to get it to do it. Wondering if my luck is just bad, or if there's other requirements for it, or a whole other thing in the first place.

Sauce?

Current Angel TF is just plan stupid and limiting for a porn game.
I don't know about medieval times, but Christians certainly make that justification now.
Related cultural touchstone:
Also citing my personal experience having lots of anal sex with Christian women who had complexes about their hymens.

The game mentioned a temple and has an Angel TF, but why do you assume the temple is related to Christianity?
This is a make up religion created for the game and Angel TF is just following the rules of this temple.
My first TF is angel, stayed virgin for 667 days and has Sydney as love interest.
I am frustrated about the virgin rule too, but I think if i have chosen to play as angel TF i should follow their rules for the sake of role playing unless i want to try fallen angel or demon TF.
You cannot choose to play as a mage class and then go wear heavy armor and start wacking NPC with a 2 handed hammer.
But for my next PC, i plan to go for demon TF, to vent my pent up frustration.
I assumed the main religion in the game was Christian because it's set in a country where the primary religion has been Christianity for hundreds of years, it uses Christian terminology like fallen angel, and it borrows a lot of Christian aesthetic.

Of course the theology has been chopped and screwed for game lore purposes, but I think the Christian base shines through.

Looks like my SubscribeStar page has been taken down completely.

Any prior subscribers know if they refunded the money billed on August 26th or later?
I don't think so. Seems like they just charged in September and stopped in October. Little hard to look through though since they do individual charges per subscription, seemingly based on the day you subscribed to a particular creator.

Sorry to hear about the whole situation. I don't have an account for fanbox or boosty, but I'll look into making one later and subscribing again. As someone else mentioned, cien might be an option too. I think things there need to be censored since I think it's Japan based, so not sure if you'll be able to directly link to your game there though. Could be wrong.

Thanks for the information, the kind words, and your support. I've been worried they were continuing to bill people after soft banning me, which wouldn't be okay.

I'd say that the religion the Temple follows is more like if some ancient Celtic religion, in its attempt to survive the times when it might've been purged for being a 'Pagan religion', took on Christian-related stuff just so that it'll instead be seen as a 'Christian adjacent' religion, so to speak. They may have functions and use terminologies that have a Christian origin, but they're certainly anything but.

Then again, this is a world where tentacles and plant people and animal people are around and there's a hidden war in the background between the Temple and the Elk over it, so who knows? Maybe if people were being assaulted by tentacles and being pollinated by plant people and are being warned about traveling alone at night, especially on the night of a Blood Moon else they might find themselves impregnated with things so white, Christianity might've had one of those strange turns as well where an anti-monster branch might've popped out, like those Shinto Exorcists in hentai. Except it'll be nuns (and only nuns, I have no eyes for monks) who are wearing sexy nun attire raping corrupted humans to purity.

Anal sex is considered FAR more sinfull (and rightfully so) in Christianity. Virginity was valued for other reasons, it had little to do with "holyness".
There's a reason the word sodomite exists and sodomites were stoned to death in ye olde times.
So everyhing about how the TF works is just random arbitrary nonsese to me.
every cult (religions included) is full of arbitrary nonsense. take the book of genesis: god tells adam to give names to all animals. why? adam never departed that knowledge elsewhere, and god confused all languages later at babel anyway. then you remember why: before god created eve - he wanted adam to pick himself a "companion". from the animals. did god create animals in pairs first and then forgot to do that for adam, so he decided to make adam a homewrecker? unlikely. therefore he likely made all animals of one sex. did god made all animals females and only adam a male? again unlikely. so adam had on offer not chickens and cows, but bulls and cocks. and you have to know something to give it a name, and elsewhere in the bible they use "know" as a euphemism for "have sex", and suddenly you realize that at some point god's perfect plan for humanity involved adam running around eden, naked, engaging in homobestiality. there's a reason why in most churches they focus on the gospels and avoid the ot like a plague.

The last couple of pages read like a Reddit post about religion. The IQ of this thread has been lowered, and everyone involved is a goober. The Angel transformation is there for two reasons.
  1. A slight cosmetic reward for engaging in the fun (imo) challenge of protecting your genital virginity.
  2. Having an Angel get fucked into a fallen angel/demon is hot.
Anything past that is just you guys thinking way too hard about a porn game.

I don't mind people engaging with, overthinking about, and just plain old nerding out for something they really like...but this is just really inexplicable when the answer for why it is the way it is seems plainly obvious from multiple angles (in-world, out-of-world, and for gameplay) and there's no reason for players to engage with it if they don't want to.

Luckily, there's a very workable solution here for avoiding posts from people behaving in ways you don't care for...

You should consider the Temple in DOL lorewise is VERY Unchristian, my theory is that it split from the local Druids and became a sex-obsessed chastity cult, as to explain why they literally don't care about anything other than vaginal sex.

The Temple are a bunch of Human Supremacists. They only advocate sex between humans. The Elk? They advocate having constant orgies with tentacles, plant people and animal people (including actual animals), and even have ways of giving their cultists the experience of being THE tentacle/plant people/animal people. You get to experience both worlds!

Unfortunately, despite all that, the Elk ain't for me. That's because my religion involves cute angel girls and the Elk wants to turn them into demons - which while ain't so bad, they're strictly inferior to said cute angel girls, so I gotta side with the Temple with placing angel girls on a pedestal.

On a more serious note regarding winged transformations, if you started out with Bird TF via Feat Boosts, unlike the other animal TFs that either just require something that's already available from the start in the Shopping Centre or becomes available simply for having the full animal TF via Gwylan's Shop, the Bird TF clothing item that stops TF decay (Feathered Hair Clip) is strictly locked behind having Stockholm Syndrome with the Great Hawk. Because the only way of getting TF points for Bird TF is to either have sex with the Great Hawk or be lovey dovey with the Great Hawk, it means that anyone that starts out as Bird TF will currently without fail eventually lose the Bird TF after 70 days, unless they deliberately go out into the Moor to get Stockholm Syndrome: Great Hawk just to unlock the Feathered Hair Clip.

Rather than locking it behind having the Great Hawk as a LI, it should be treated the same as the other anti-TF decay items and instead look at whether the PC has the relevant TF for it to be unlocked at Gwylan's Shop. Or else introduce new ways of getting Bird TF points? Maybe because we can cook now, it could involve cooking and eating a certain many-limbed animal that a certain big bird (or bird girl with gigantic tits person) loves to hunt. Finally another use for the packaged animal in a box as well, just like how Potatoes in a box starts giving +Hope if the Loft Kitchen is installed.

Np.

Just a thought, but you might want to see if the first post here can be updated to have links to your fanbox and boosty instead of subscribestar now. That or at least add the links to your signature. Anyway, subscribed again on fanbox. Good luck and hope most of your supporters move over.

1. I'm not interested in rewards for things I don't want to do. If something is fine and I want it, a reward is superflous. Achievement hunting is for losers.

2. very subjective. And still very much possible with options.

Alright I gotta get in the debate now. How is 2 very subjective? Having an Angel get fucked into a fallen angel IS hot!
Oh, right, subjective...well. :D

Alright I'll take this opportunity to empty my bag:
I've been following this game for a while but have only recently tried playing the game at its fullest instead of just being a victim and hurting my wrist and other parts of my (IRL) body. What I mean is that I suddenly discovered an entire part of the game that I hadn't encountered before, whole parts that I didn't even know existed despite following this fucking thing for years, and I'm really impressed. I knew the original dev and (afterwards) the rest of the team were doing a great job and never have I had any complaints about this game regarding the updates, but damn, damn! I discovered like litteraly as much as half of the game last time when I finally really played it. Crazy content for almost everyone!

Anyway. My way to say: long live DoL! I'm afraid to try it with mods because it already sucks entire days out of my daily life when I go back to it...

Once you try out DoLP and find yourself enjoying it, you'll never be able to return back to normal DoL. It's to the point where if DoLP ever dies and no one really carries on what it had, I'll probably have a tough time trying to adjust back to vanilla DoL gameplay. If you're afraid of that happening to you, it might be a good idea to only stick to vanilla (or avoid any mods that is built off DoLP, which as per Dolmods are DoL Transmod Plus and DoL X-Change Mod)

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of... Then again, danger is part of life, right? :D I'll probably end up trying DoLP next week-end... Or later today...maybe after my morning coffee? Okay, okay, right now!
Jokes aside, last time I played DoL (a bit before last update and I stupidly sent Avery away...if only I'd known!) was mainly to try and finally get all the Feats I could so it ended up being a bit tedious. I saw whole parts of the game I hadn't seen before but now I don't see myself starting a new game (although for the first time I would have a bunch of Coins to spend) unless there was a massive, massive update. So maybe DoLP is the answer to reinject a little life into my experience!
Thanks for helping me convince myself :D
