If you get sent to the Underground Brothel, you can potentially experience a thirst mechanic by being defiant that is otherwise unused. This leads me to think that it is assumed that your basic survival needs are being taken care of behind the scenes, unless you are in a situation that intentionally makes it impossible to do so.

When I say that, it is in reference to the fact that personally, I feel that the game no longer has a direction to go.
I understand that over the last 2 years things have been refined and without going too far, now there is an easier way to survive without requiring sexual acts or events, but... personally I feel that once the first few months, the most difficult "phase" of the game in my opinion pass, the game becomes a hollow of things.
Example:
At that point, one's income will easily begin to generate savings, savings that once you have the clothes you want, what are they for? Yes, there are events that require you to "pay" but after that, money has no meaning or weight, that's why I said it would be interesting to add elements that would make you have to yes or yes, apart from the debt of the orphanage having to spending money on other things like food, I'm not sure what happened to the game you're talking about, but if it's well implemented, it could be interesting and...
[Edit: Tsugumi, you can play without cheats, yes... but it's also easy to activate them and with cheats I don't know in what level such project that you mentioned reached, but literally here we have cheats that save walking and almost any aspect of the game already...]
Anyway, it's just that, I like the game and I've been following it for years, but I feel that it has stagnated, because although the idea, as I mentioned at the beginning, is to make that crazy world what you want in the way that is possible, given that you are nothing and you come from nothing, but above the others at least you are the most "normal" to find and therefore the fact that at this point, the fact that there is no "change" of "act" it's sad, because between the initial point you start with and any point after, if you remove the development of skills, knowledge, clothes and money, what is different between those 2 points? You still have to pay a debt that has no end, from the school, except for the educational events that there are, there isn´t much development and in the city there is no change or movement.
And how to introduce getting rid of the orphanage debt even if it was to enter into a more difficult "act" which would be to maintain the home, is more complicated and difficult because of all the mechanics to introduce with it, so again just try to think of a simple way in my opinion to add difficulty to the game without having to do it artificially by modifying the payment, debt and purchase values.
Again, I understand that not everyone could like it, but... in the absence of a "change" of acts or points, at least I hope that if it weren´t that way, the game instead of continuing to introduce more events , clothes (and although it hurts me) possible animations, I would like it to start closing loose ends, instead of opening more and more.

Interesting, it's been a while since I went to the underground brothel, I didn't remember that. Although and if it is the case... if there is that "behind the scenes", then I only hope that more elements are introduced in the future that make the game after the first phase of the game is over, continue to be a challenge, as it happens with any game where when you pass the zone, even if you are at a good level, new mechanics or new enemies are presented that make you keep paying attention.
It says you only experience the thirst mechanic if you anger them, causing them to cut off your water supply.
I haven't actually been to the Underground Brothel myself yet (it's the last thing I need to do to complete the "unlock all the Forest Shop content" feat). I just remembered reading about it previously and thought I should mention it because it was on-topic. I don't know for certain what the devs have in mind with things, but if you edit a save file you can see stats for all sorts of things. Just look at this attached data copied from a recent save and tell me they aren't planning non-anal pregnancy.

Download a full save, just put "full save" on search and use that save then make a new chara.

Yeah you're spot-on with that, it's usually how it's explained. A similar mechanic also happens in the underground farm with hunger. You probably get a meal a day at the orphanage, it's not great, slop even, but hey it's something. If you're with Eden or at the prison, then you're also fed there. And of course you get your meals at the school.
Vrel wanted to include mechanics like hunger, thirst, hygiene etc. originally but the reality of it is that managing those stats alongside all your other stats can just either get overwhelming at best and frustrating at worst. So he decided against it. But for those wanting a system like that, he made a compromise in the bad endings such as the underground brothel and farm.
But honestly it's just "video game logic". A lot of games don't really bother with mechanics like this because of how tedious it can get. Is it possible for someone to run around shooting enemies with no food, water, or sleep for several days like someone like Gordon Freeman can do in Half-Life? No, it's not realistic at all, but you're playing a video game, it's there to escape reality. Those things kinda get brushed aside for the sake of gameplay. No one wants to see Gordon eat or drink, or take a piss. You're not playing Half-Life for that, and similar logic applies to all other games that don't include a needs system like that. It just adds tedium, honestly. And seeing how this is a porn game, that's something you don't want

And if you really want to take care of a character's needs, there's already a game for that. There's even mods to make the game more 18+ than teen. It's called the Sims, with Sims 2 and Sims 3 giving you the best play experience. I love those games.

There are some 'full' saved files floating around. So you can start the game with like 50 coins. It's good if you have played through the game dozens of times already or you lost your files.
The one I included is from a lil while ago so there might be a newer one if you want to search the threads.
You just load it up like any other save, and then you can make a new character and enjoy the jump in progress.

Set the debug menu to true in a save editor and you'll get to use both the debug and the ingame cheat menu. Once you've done what you want to do, set the debug menu back to false and you'll be able to get achievements.
