For those of you who want to know more about the IRL background of this game I found a few books on the Stockholm Syndrome and Trauma that you may find enlightening:
Six Days in August: The Story of Stockholm Syndrome - David King
Stockholm Syndrome in a Relationship - Liv Jesson
Trauma Plot: A Life - Jamie Hood
Traumata - Meera Atkinson
The trauma books do mention control, but mainly as being problematic if the desire to control is very strong after the the trauma has already been inflicted and the danger is no longer present. I couldn't find any books or scientific articles that describe the use of control as a trauma prevention mechanism during the actual traumatic event itself. If you know of any such articles or books I'd sure like to hear about it!

The only way that i know that you can change time is through SugarCube.State.variables.timeStamp
You set that to some number and it will change the time to that number, with each number being the number of seconds from the day you started your playthrough from. The change in time only updates when you do some action that forces the game to check the time, like moving from one location to another.
Ex: If i add 3600 to it, then i would teleport 1 hour foward in game.
This probably gets asked all the time.. But I managed to lose my save file on DOL+ and lost all of my progress.. Does anyone have a save file I could use for some boosts? I don't mind starting over.. But I wouldn't hate having extra coins to catch back up to where I was.. I don't mind if it's vanilla or plus at this point

I can agree it would be nice if there was a way to remove specific checks from the game like that, but there are still ways to get out of trouble. I've had a file go 150 days without even having sex/being raped and she was a small character. Unless you're implying that you wanted those violations to happen.. Which I can't blame you if you wanted. xD
But fighting through the vow is doable as well.. Albeit not so easily done by small characters.
Also For Avery.. I'm pretty sure you have to progress and do a specific date where they state that they like you as more than an escort.

It's a rescue mission, if all you did was dance, how tf are you expecting to save anyone?
In between performances, you have the option to explore the mansion, do that until you find the hostage.

but these "search" sections are random? even if i will search i might not find hostage? i might find a wallet with 10 bucks inside, or some other trash? i will no longer repeat myself
You can back step and try to reroll to trigger the event or try again next week, there is no time limit.
