If it bothers you this much, then just lose your virginity and accept the Fallen Angel tf. That's what stage 2 is there for and your wings are even restored. However, you've also already stated how you edited your save so that having sex/losing your virginity doesn't make you fall.

So this means you've already solved your own gripes and can have as much sex as you want without losing the Angel tf, but you're still complaining about it. What's the problem? You're wording your argument as if you're advocating for other players, but you're really just advocating for yourself alone.

if i remember correctly, vrelnir was going to make a fantasy game called addermarsh. i'd imagine elves and trolls would have fit well in that game.

The X-Change mod has introduced my new favorite feature to DoL. Seriously, why isn't this already a thing? That's such a good idea. So, the mod made a change to innocence. While innocent you can do actions that you normally can only do with high... I forget. Anyways~ Cause you don't know no better! I love it! <3

I really kind of just hate this argument. If you try to shove every part of every piece of media into its own little walled garden you just end up sabotaging the quality overall. Without themes impacting gameplay and gameplay impacting themes you just kind of end up with a mash of uninspired gruel without context or flavor. In order for thematic bits and gameplay bits to really stand out they need to work WITH and be influenced BY other parts of the whole otherwise its just another generic story point or gameplay element that means nothing.

It's a porn game. Not some legendary cultural epic.
So gameplay and allowing players to engage in fetishes they like is and should be the main concern. "Themes" can be adjusted and tweaked, as can mechanics. Options can be added easily. A happy middle ground can exist.

Yes, I solved my problem with modding. But not everyone knows how to do it and I believe the option to adjust should be part of main game. After all, there's tons of option to tweak the game and have the players tailor the game to their liking. What's one more?
The better question is - why are you so admantly against it? Why are you against more player customization choices?

I.... personally doesn't understand why things above is even worth arguing.

Imagine this, you got an RPG game, where you can be anything. You look at the "Mage" class on that game, and said "Oh, I like the bookish aesthetic, so I want to be one!".

But unfortunately, that "Mage" class could only be unlocked if you have enough "Intelligence" points. But instead of actually trying to get that "Intelligence" points, you instead say "Oh, that's bad game design! I just want to look nerdy without actually being smart, and the devs is at wrong for not providing the option for it!"

Bird TF maintenance item is finally available at Gwylan's without needing to romance the Great Hawk? That's great. Gwylan getting more content, while unexpected, is very much welcome (I thought it was going to be more about LIs after Avery's). While DoL content probably isn't going that way (unless it already has with the 'hidden secret content'?), I do hope that some limited magic/alchemy of a sort will end up in the game eventually, seeing as Gwylan had already kind of vaguely hinted on such things when they said, in response to Robin talking about the Witch's Hat about Halloween, that it 'could be used that way'. I already see Gwylan as kind of one of those semi-immortal Forest Witches you'd see in some manga/anime who has been around possibly before even the town existed kind of thing.

Still, it's nice to see some of the minor characters getting some more love.

Because the orphanage doesn't resemble the foster families that exist in Britain today.
And all the orphanages were closed in the mid-1950s, and all the orphans were sold to brothels and farms in Australia.
They certainly say the children were given up for "adoption," but the fact that an auction was held suggests otherwise.

Not sure if its my place to suggest, but seeing as theres been alot of new sprite work recently it'd be nice to see each street in town be given unique local sprites, rather than the same generic one we have now. It feels odd that parts of town which are supposed to be older or wealthier have the same look as parts of town which are supposed to be industrial or poorer.

I think they meant when the orphanages were closed. If an orphanage was closed while there were still orphans living in there, they would have to go somewhere. And it was during a time when government-run orphanages were being closed en-masse, up until the 1980s.

That said, in the context of DoL, it's certainly no government-run orphanage. Maybe it's owned by the town in name, but Bailey effectively runs it. And it definitely isn't set in the 1950s, unless even during those times we already had porn on computers for offices.

I would propose that DoL takes place in a parallel reality where events are mostly the same, but with minor overall differences (IE government never shut down Orphanages or Insane Asylums) but where events still generally follow the real world. No one in town seems to act like the place is unique for its Asylum or Orphanage, but only for the sex stuff.
