Back on game topic: is anyone in the dev discord? Is there any aknowledging of the garbage collection issue? Is there any comment on fixes for the next release?
Repair? His own game finally toasted his PC because of the awful optimization, or unrelated?

Because after some attitudes from posters, Devo choose to ignore this site. Thus the OP doesn't get updated except for cracked versions. If someone wants to upload some screens and ping a mod/uploader, I think they'll update the OP with them.

There isn't a lot more to see. Only thing not represented there is the combat in my opinion, and that's just generic fps looter/shooter with a somewhat Tarkovish gun customization system.
Version 20 brought some dialog interactions and basic quest system, but the meat of the game is still pretty much just making the protagonist avoid being raped by pretty much everything while searching randomly for random loot.
There's a lot of mechanics and systems being implemented in the game, like cyberwares, arousal, pregnancy, birth, masturbation, rape, psychosis, etc... but is so much things being thrown in the game at the same time that none of them are polished so far.
Best description I could give of this game so far is: A gigantic amalgamation of really awesome ideas, implemented with the equivalent finesse of a sledgehammer.
To be fair, that's kinda a win for "us", no? As in if dev kept an eye over what's going on here it would probably become the same bullshit cycle of cracking and next version implementing new auth methods over and over, as it happens with Vanimate. Not only is that bad because a lot of people get mad (and talk badly about your project), as it's also a ton of time wasted by the dev on something not really contributing meaningfully to the game at all.
Supporting games with potential (like Delta Zone, albeit slow as fuck...) is the "good" outcome, but not everyone can. Plus I do think more people being able to test/play the game end up being good "marketing", thus generating more support if the product is actually good/enjoyed? Could be wrong though, I don't have statistics to back me up, plus I'm a idiot.
I feel like I'm retarded and cannot seem to understand the steps with the Crack version very well.
As anyone installed this with the Crack recently? Care to share any tips?

Download the game in the OP > Download DeltaZone_v20.zip from the crack post > Extract the downloaded crack and you'll find a "Binaries" folder inside same as the game's folder > Copy the crack's "Binaries" folder into the game folder to overwrite the original "Binaries" folder.
I think I did a worse job explaining the process than "Detailed ZIP Installation instructions are below:" in the crack post, oh well.

Can someone help me..i just cannot find the med-center. I wandered for 45 minutes around the starting area and near the trader but nothing. On the map it says med should be close but i just cannot find it. Can it be bugged on my part ?
You have to get to the other side of the pipes (to the south) and follow them eastwards. There are a few spots where you can cross them, one should be very close to the trader. The med bay is between the pipes and a parallel road that is even further south. Just go south from the trader until you are on the other side of the pipes and head east-south-east (iirc).

I think most people get lost on directions a lot in the game (given how bad the map is).
Also another frequent recurrent question is on how to deal with eggs/tentacles/medic stations. The timer/hatching mechanic isn't really well explained in the game, but the warnings that it is too early or it's getting too late to push eggs out kinda deal with it?
I think it'll be more hardcore towards future versions, since there's pregnancy tests/pills and such.
Maybe also tips on how to make money? With the new quest system it got a little easier, but I don't think many know how much money can be made disassembling enemy weapons and selling the parts with good condition (and discarding bad damaged parts, because sell value is crap and inventory weight and space limit is limited as fuck for a looting game).
I hope the cheats never get removed, the game is insuferable to me without the "don't steal items" one. Takes a fuckton of time to make/find good weapon parts to lose it all to some random bullshit enemy out of nowhere.
edit: isn't better to wait for the next version release? You can end up writing some tips/guidance for something that changes next version.

Its hard to say what could have happened. I also direct the attitude comment at the leaches and don't support and use a demanding tone towards the dev. Its not everyone, but a vocal sum of people.
One thing Devo did though up till when he decided to leave this site was provide the last version for free while supporters got access to the current version. Usually when that formula runs on this site, the current version doesn't get leaked. This strikes what I think is a healthy balance from pirates to involved devs. Its pretty uncommon for the current versions to be leaked out of respect for these devs that support piracy.
I've voiced my concerns with Devo about this take of cutting off F95 and how it'll unfairly affect supporters and just cause people to crack the current version, but he's stuck on the vocal few asshats. I know he could be doing better numbers and have more people happy with the path of progression. But he ridged. I can't blame him, this site has a problem with entitlement that is toxic as fuck and he has a very specific view of what he wants in the game. Even supporters suggestions are usually shot down.

You might want to hold up and not waste time. A new version is due out soon and its going to make some fundamental changes to play. There might be a transport system coming in and with cyberware that is going to affect every aspect of combat.
IIRC the mood here towards and from the dev shifted once the delay of the free version got longer and longer. Going from one month to longer and longer until the game got cracked and then it didn't take long until the free versions got cancelled and the dev left the forum.
But tbh there were (as always) many asshats that demanded (lul) the most recent version all the time. At a time where the delay was a month and free versions including some bugfixes which I really liked. But I had the feeling that the dev even then did not really see having a free version for promotion as big as an advantage as I would assume. And I'm pretty sure that everyone active on this site at the time knew that the game would be cracked once there was a large enough incentive.
