I think the game stands out so much because it maintains the veil of sexual innocence and suspense, mixed with good story and characters. All within the dimension of having graphics and interactability like an actual normal game.
Devs should not listen to any demands of players for explicit stuff, because it will just hurt the suspense and story and create tons of problems with Patreon.
My suggestion is to expand on the story and make the characters more convoluted and complex. There shouldn't be any more explicit scenes at all. Only more sexually suggestive things, hints, pathways, dreams and internal dialogue that convey the arousal, mental state and sexual confusion of the girl. It should all be more about being ashamed and overcharged while exploring sexuality in a kind of innocent teenage way that unveils heaps of involuntary perversions and derangement.

I'm going to share a big secret with you. Most don't care at all about the story. We are here for the scenes. Not 30 minutes of clicking around for nothing to happen. Renpy stories are just as bad. 300 clicks to get to the first scene that usually isn't anything much, then another 200 clicks. It's just spamming the button, no reading at all.

While possibly true, have you considered that perhaps you're in wrong place? It's like signing up for cooking class and then complaining how it's stupid and useless, because you're only interested in eating. Why not go to restaurant or somewhere, where you'll get directly what you want, without having to suffer through all those boring parts? In this case, maybe look for something that's not advertised as game with story, if you clearly know that it's not what you like?
Hmm, There is Honey Select for that. I think it is great that we have couple games like this and Carnal Instinct that try to make alternative for modding.
I get that the default is that we are here for the porn and everybody has their own preferences but the way I see it is that for just scenes there are plenty of porn sites and for more fantasy flavor there are plenty of 3d animations and scene viewers.
There are also plenty of good games without porn. So any game that tries to break that gap is good in my books.
I have to agree with renpy games and other exposition dumps that nobody likes lot of reading in games and any story should be either shown or compressed. If you need more than two dialogue boxes for it then it is too much. But if the gameplay is good then I am happy to play 30 minutes before the scenes really start, but that of-course means that the game has to stand on it's own even without the sex.

i'd bet a good amount of money its not a date but the number of scenes/quests/whatever out of 14 for the update to be completed. Last time it was 7/14 and now 9/14. It has to be the update progress, riiiiiiiiiight??
Renpy vs a proper game like Deluded is like watching a power point presentation vs watching a real movie. Renpy has almost zero immersion, it is literally just a slideshow, like reading an illustrated book. Also ironically, Renpy games tend to have overly simple and mudane day-to-day-life bad story and just focus on being explicit, with no complex characters etc. They are just cheap to push out and poor to consume, like fan fiction, and creators make the exact same error in neglecting story.
You cannot beat 4k Pornhub models with looks in the 99.9th percentile with some CGI, that's not the strength of explicit games, and hence a very poor investment. Good games come from a skillful conglomeration of story + interactability + sexual suspense + some explicit scenes + other art like sound and music. The power is in not neglecting any one of those aspects and being interesting on many levels. Having good story in games already rich in many of those aspects acts like a multiplier and doesn't cost massive dev efforts. That's why it is so important.

I really hope they add patrolling NPCs or dynamic NPCs to the game. Having them only react to any situation by going up and hitting a button isn't as good as the NPC having the ability to detect the player and play specific events or interactions based on the state of the player. This is what killed their other game (My lust life) for me when it WAS the original developers.
Example: Being completely naked and walking around the house and only get a reaction when you interact with them compared to a chat bubble popping up regarding your state of dress or a specific event happening without a cut-scene.
