I appreciate the arguments that you're making, but they just don't do it for me. I'd be much more inclined to extend an olive branch to this dev team if there wasn't constant feature creep instead of a building up of the basic plot and core content. As a matter of fact, I do give them a lot of slack (it's been years, but this is the first time I've complained, and I used to be a patron. Like, who are you to talk down to me?). The problem isn't that the game is taking years to make (that much is expected), it's that, and you can look at some of the patch notes, they're faffing about adding random tat, adjusting numbers for strength gains from working out, and whatnot. When an update includes things like (and I am being hyperbolic, I admit, but some previous patches have been in this vein), "Added 15 new styles of make-up in 5 colours and 3 new outfits to the cheat shop," instead of, "Completed 30% of day 4," I'm a lot less inclined to believe that they aren't dicking about.
You talk a lot about self-aggrandizing and accuse me, and others, of being children with a superiority complex, but your post reeks of it. I mean, you tainted your entire second point with it. It's hardly even worth putting in the effort to respond to you. It's just a weird way to communicate with people that you're, ostensibly, trying to win over to your side.
