Finally checked again for a new update after 8 months, 29 days, 14 hours, 17 minutes, and 32 seconds.
If I'm not mistaken, they started the project with 4-5 people and are 11 working on it now. So money is probably not a big issue for now. Let's hope it lasts, cause as you said the project is very promising.
About your steam question, from their FAQ:
Just started playing and quickly noticed a strange bug: item descriptions in the inventory always appear on the main monitor, even if the game is on another monitor (so they are often partially or totally off screen). This happens in both fullscreen and windowed. So far this seems to be the only UI element that behaves this way. For example, the partial description on the left is for the piggy bank on the far right side.

What is the system requirement ? I can't try now because my desktop PC died a few weeks ago (the water-cooling leaked on the components ) and I will buy a new one soon . For the moment I'm on a laptop that a friend sold me for half the price but I don't think it will run on it with his 680m igpu
