Reidlo, and many other developers, believe that as soon as the lead female has sex people will lose interest and stop supporting. So they create these stories with lots of teasing and no actual sex that can drag on for years.

There are plenty of people who enjoy the tease and will hang on and support these developers forever, while others (like me) get tired of waiting.

I don't even know where this game stands. Are we at the mid point yet? The end seems to be nowhere in sight.
