maybe when the game is finished. i only pay for finished products
Don’t you think that’s a bit selfish?
What developer releases their game only after finishing it? Completing a game is a process — and that process depends on whether the developer can find the motivation to keep working on it. I’m talking about money. If everyone acts like you and others do, no one will support the game. And then it’ll just be abandoned.

I’m curious, though — which games have you supported before? Were the ones you supported ever released as fully completed title

idk, maybe you open up steam and scroll through the titles? maybe some released games have bugs that need to be ironed out, but in the end, they are being released as a complete game, that might receive a DLC in the distant future.

what is selfish is the fucking epidemic of developers who release a game, that's 20% done in theory, and then take half a year for a 1% update. Then they excuse themselves with the same bullshit reasons like "need more money", "don't have much time", when in all honesty, they are just lazy gooners like everyone else on this site who don't want to work. if I get 2k a month by doing basically nothing, i'd get accustomed to that lifestyle as well and wont do shit 24/7.

And this gets worse the more popular the game becomes, because then it's not just paying the bills anymore, then they have a luxurious lifestyle, maybe even a family for which they have to provide, and now they are literally forced to milk the game. They are forced to slow roll because one day the game might be finished and then the payments might stop or subscriptions will be canceled.

This industry is a glaring hole and in dire need of an actual company that releases games and quality content on a regularly basis. We don't care if we have to wait 13 years for gta 6. But we love every second of playing it because it's a great product, people will line up to get it, and people will play it for years. If I bought the base game GTAV, I don't need to pay a subscription fee for GTA Online. So this argument is also irrelevant.

The bottom line will always be the same: Finish a great product, and people will line up to pay for it.

And I will never support any developer that hasn't finished their game. My message to them would be: take your time, finish, and then release it. I can wait.

No wonder so many games are being abandoned. They create something that people like and look forward to, expect the subscription based funding, arent able to keep up with the updating schedule, or demands, or the expectations of the users considering when a game isn't finished, you leave room for desire and hope.

But instead, what they should have actually done is release the full game, here it is, from start to end.

and then you have to think like a company: release multiple products. bring on people to help speed up the process, writers, designers, etc.. Become more successful and dominate the market because right now there are like 3-5 developers out there who operate alone or in a small group who cant finish anything they have started.

When I go to the porn channel on Sunday afternoon, it doesn't do anything. Is this a bug or is it just me?

I've tried all day Sunday, morning, afternoon, and evening, and it doesn't do anything.

Steam? This is a platform for developers whose games can’t be published or are banned elsewhere. The games on Steam are made by teams — even the most “indie” ones usually have multiple people behind them. And let’s say there are solo-developed games — those developers are often working after their day jobs, using whatever time they have left. It takes years.

So what are you comparing here? You do realize adult games are made by single developers, right?
Even the adult games you see on Steam often come from platforms like F95, where they’re first developed and later get an official Steam release. Please don’t be selfish — remember that the games you love go through a long, difficult process, and their creators often need our help along the way, my friend

On the first Sunday at noon, go to the dining room until you see the landlord watching television, then do it the next Sunday
