I would have to refresh myself on the plot but I assume Lilith chose Jon Gates specifically as her "champion" because he always had it in him that "big cock energy ready to make a whole town his harem". If you are playing the public version (it tells you on the title screen) then use the debug tool in the phone menu

Don't know which platform you are playing on...just re-downloaded a fresh game for PC and the name change is in the inventory. If after you've used the name change and wish to change it again you can get one at Sal's - but from the blonde clerk not the other one.

I am using a PC, I just downloaded the latest version of the game and used my old save, but it seems like it isn't working, can't find that name change neither in the inventory nor the sal's market
