I have been playing the game for over a year, I have replayed it twice and yet this is the first time I have seen this person.

Damn, you're right. We'll get this fixed, I dunno if this is new patch worthy but I'll talk to Zakko about it and see. Thanks for reporting and sorry you got this one, if you're on PC I can fix the save otherwise you can reload from before the event and try again. You can also hold ctrl when loading the save to fly through the text options and get out in time before it kills you and, and you still can't, I can get you a fix or edit your save if needed

Too bad, it has a lot of potential. She is the typical girl you see working in a video game or comic book store and you are attracted to her.
Haven't played in a while and I think my save is stuck after using v0.6.5a version.
I'm controlling the mom now and can't progress. There are 4 circles out of bounds
I believe this is bug but am I missing something?
Edit: Can confirm that using the v0.6.5 public (non 'a' patch) fixed the problem.

this usually happens when the game is closed mid-event. When you replayed it on the non-a version, did you play this event all the way through or stop when you got control of Leslie and save/exit it?

I've saved and quit once I got control of Laslie, patched to the 'a' version, reloaded, then encountered this issue. I then extracted the non-a version and loded my save controling Laslie. This showed the locations I should search in the rooms and finish the event.
interesting, I'll take a look at it. If you're on PC, would you happen to still have the save at that point?
appreciate the quick reply, loading your save showed the bug and I tested out a fix and it works now on my end. You said you got it to work on your game and you got past that event, right?
