I downloaded the 6.5 from here
I was just going to power through the 6.5 stuff, but when I loaded the slot 50, I got the message I was starring at the current 7.0 content when I got in game.... so it's worth trying. If the message was wrong, it's 1 update behind, if the message was true, then this is what to do.

It's unfortunate, but this is the way it is with this creator. His team is very small, and he also focuses time on doing side stuff for his patreon subs. The creator is very hands on so to speak, and probably doesn't trust adding more ppl to his team to push good updates out in a shorter time period.
Count, just to keep yourself up to date.
DD no longer comes with a save in slot 50.
Instead you can start from the new content after selecting start new game. (choices are new game. Start at 7.0 or start at 6.5)

guys, I downloaded the compressed file, and when I click on play, the game doesn't run.
Does anyone know why?

It might depend on the device being used with regard to hardware. Laptop/PC, basic vs something that has the newest tech.

Did you extract the compressed file to a folder and then attempt to start the game?

Just nothing happens or you get some kind of error message? If nothing happens, then their could be a whole bunch of factors why the game won't load up.

The subscriber who leaked the beta didn't share the changelog. This was shared by the developer 2 weeks ago:
Demon Deals v.07 is coming in just a couple weeks! It'll be out to supporters at the $10+ tiers on July 20th, and the Public and Mobile versions will be out just 5 days later for everyone!

I'll be taking my usual hiatus from here starting around the Beta release and lasting til after the public is out, I appreciate everyone here who holds it down and helps folks who have questions or issues and I appreciate everyone that enjoys the game!
Is the office scene(Leslie convo with Faust) the end of this update or is there more to trigger?

Nope. When a compressed version is released, each person who plays it is at their own risk, hence that uploaders disclaimer. Is this your first time opening and attempting to play a compressed game?
