Dude, I bought your game on Steam just because I saw you sharing the Deluxe version on the req thread. That was nice.

Probably a little late, but while working on our next upcoming game, I figured out why some users were having issues with Mac versions of the game. Since it was a quick fix, thought I'd pass it along here as well. Here's a new version of DKD that should work better for Mac.

I'm sorry to hear that you found the game lacking. =( If you have any feedback on how we can improve in the future, please let us know.

For me it is that I have at the epilogues no subtitles. I have some hearing problems and while I loved, that there whas VA during the fight with subtitles, it annoyed me a bit on the epilogue there are non and that we have to play it all at once. If the epilogue would have been saveable and with subtitles it would have been much better.

I just feel sorry for the girl in this game. She tried so hard but there is no path to victory at all. That cat-ears epilogue is just cruel.

In less subjective analysis, I didn't like the audio parts that couldn't be paused/rewound and had no transcription, and the combat in this isn't nearly as polished as in Magebuster.

Both walkthroughs do not help for phase 5.

She does:

• Heal
• Attack
• Counter; this is the only time she counters when I charge. Her second and third time during this rotation, her counter is during my attacks. Thus, I do no damage, when she does 10, so I lose. I have tried the one that was steam, I lost, as well. I followed the one here, I lost. If there is a set HP needed for the next phase, please mention that. If not, then there is a different rotation that works better than what is suggested. I even tried charge > counter, nothing.

EDIT: What you need to do, is follow the guide, but after she counters the first time, swap your order: Charge, attack, charge, becomes attack, charge, attack, so the charge is on her second counter, then you attack just after her third heal, and you deal more damage than she can heal.

Everything in the main game is transcribed and written out, so you wouldn’t miss anything in that. There is, however, a section of the “extras” menu that lets the player listen to “epilogues” that present some bonus scenarios, and these are audio-only with no transcription.

This might not be 100% accurate to the finalized epilogues, but here's the document that the voice actress read from while recording. It should be pretty darn close to a transcript.

Oh, so those images were supposed to have dialogue with them? No wonder I didn't realize I had missed something. I thought they were just still images unlocked by completing an ending... I guess I did think it was weird that they were in a section labeled "epilogue".

The epilogues is the main content imo. Voice Actress has a cute lisp which makes her cuteness factor go up by 10
