Nope, the dev is creating a different game, same type of fetishes in it tho, futanari, female protagonist (potential futa like in this one), skin tight clothing, but the game is called Princess Knight, check its DL site or Ci-en page if you want more info on how it's going...
I'd say you'll have to wait for at least 2+ years if you want any news about another Demon Exorcist game, since Demon Exorcist Ayano (the first game) and Demon Exorcist Shion (2nd game) are the ones the dev made, and now he's making the game I mentioned, it's been cooking for a while, probably will be released either at the end of this year, or at the next one...
Edit: The developer uploads content slowly, once at the end of each month or so usually, explaining how the devlog is going but it's only for those that pay I assume, recently their schedule has been a bit of a mess, I hope their health is good...
The Princess Knight game is set in the same world as the Demon Slayer games. The Cien posts are also public (mostly at least), you just need an account to see them.

There's a rather annoying quirk with Akemi's dialogue where if you cancel out of the choices it will loop you right back around to her talking about pregnancy. I thought it was a bug at first, but no, it just defaults to the pregnancy dialogue when you don't specifically select "Leave", so I made a quick fix for that so cancel always defaults to leave.

As I said, it is set in the same setting, with at least 1 supporting character from Shion in the Princess Knight game.
Honestly, just rehashing the "stuck in a tentacle dungeon" plot can get old, so a different set of themes and enemies can be good IMO.
I agree with you on this, it's been two games, and the next one is already touching similar fetishes, also, while they can switch it up and spice things up regarding the tentacle stuff, it already does seem to have a dungeon style on it...
Making the game not so much just "tentacles" can do a few things, like pushing the creator a bit out of their comfort zone (nothing bad with tentacle games but I'd personally rather more MC and NPC interaction, Demon Slayer Shion already had an amazing amount in it), give more lore around, and potentially allow for a bit less of just random maze that you have to be going around, the art of this dev is amazing, but the only downsides are how the beginning is 70% tentacle dungeon, and 30% interaction with some others, and how, for many, going in circles around the map truly is annoying if you want to progress (the dev had to upload a map of the areas because of how repetitive and annoying it could get to try to pass from one place to another, nothing bad with a bit of a maze area, but when the entire game is focused around going aimlessly from one place to another like this, it can become frustrating for many)...
