i got rid ot the problem by deleting the game with all content - after that i manually unpacked everything again and it worked.
From what I've seen so far they're all those shitty two frame back and forths. This does not deserve an animation tag in it.Please let me know if any of the scenes are really animated or not

I'm not certain but i'm pretty sure the file on uploadhaven is a virus. It disguises itself as a .rar file with the title, then like 10 spaces and a .vhd at the end which is super sketchy. I canceled that one real quick.

There's a bug/exploit where you can save your game at end of session, go to the market, buy gifts to increase affinity, then just close the game and reload your save, it keeps the affinity gains and you get your money back so you can buy more gifts, repeat to max affinity on chapter 1.
