Ben playing this from the start very creative game whit a nice story and twist hot characters and good interaction whit the choices glad to see this game as one of my favs on my list just great work from the creator

Interesting characters, engaging story, lots of good images and scenes, and now some great endings.

Has some interesting branching choices which add to replayability, but not so many that it feels like burden to try to see everything. Also has a scene gallery to rewatch what you've unlocked and to show you that there are things you've missed.

Plenty of plaudits for Depraved Awakening already, and I'll have to add my voice to the chorus. Excellent noir storyline that can stand on its own that weaves compelling characters into interesting plotlines.

The art is just...wow. The renderings are tremendous on their own, but the amazing attention to detail--from the laces of the stockings, the light bouncing off of shimmering skin, to the bokeh in the city background--really sets a new standard in VNs I've seen. Arguably the best art I've ever seen.

Philly made, um...very good choices on designing his ladies, I'll leave it at that. More Christina and Carli, please.

Game interface is standard VN Love/Lust categories, which checks in the beginning that shape the game but eventually converge a bit. Multiple endings that surprisingly don't overlap enough. That said, they very well done and helps the game end on a high note.

Play it. Both the stories and the art are worth your time.

Also, making/finishing the game seems to have been very tough on PhillyGames. For what it's worth, this one's up on the pantheon, and I hope he/she continues to make great games/VNs because there's real talent (and giving of joy) there.

I just finished this excellent game. This last update ended the story so well! It tied up all the loose ends and provided closure with every character. This was a very well written and produced game. One of the very best.

The end of the best " porn game " that I've ever played! So sad, but at the same time I'm happy Philly could finish his fantastic story with great scenes and endings. By far the best adult themed game i have played. the images are very high quality, the characters have personality, the choices are meaningfull and actualy matter. i played through most of the game 3 seperate times, and i have gotten 3 rather differant playthroughs. and its actualy completed, a rare feat in and off itself.
This game sets the bar for visual novels and it sets it extremely high.

Hands down one of the best written VN's out there.

The story is amazing, full of up's and down's that make you both love, and hate, the writer.

Easily one of the best games/stories I've seen in a long time.
Followed this game with great interest, initially because of the render quality. That quickly changed to following it because of its brilliantly executed plot, and characters.

Man looks like this one is finished.....i have to admit im a bit sad. This game is one of the best i ever playd whit, top 2-3 easily. Grat visuals, phenomenal story, meaningfull choices and the best characters i ever seen. loved every minute of it and im pretty sure i will return to play it again in the future. Depraved Awakening...
I discovered this game in its early days. It feels like ages ago.
It's weird, I can't remember many adult games that I enjoyed back then, but this game, this full-fledged experience, it was an eye-opener.
For me, it was the first game that showed that adult games are so much more than just sexual content. The whole noir vibe...I fell in love with it from the start.

Now, I know Philly. He's the kind of developer that rarely says he's truly satisfied with his renders.
It's not because they are bad, if you've played the game you know that the renders he produces are truly astonishing, but because he always wants to learn more and strives to do better.
It's a great quality to have, because he's always pushing himself to evolve, never saying "That's all I need to know.", always asking "What else can I learn?".
The downside to having that quality is that I fear that he cannot truly appreciate what he has achieved with this game.
Because what you have achieved Philly, it is bloody brilliant. From start to finish. Brilliant!
This game is a hallmark for what adult games should strive to be in terms of quality and content.

Storyline....hollywood type writing
animation....weak at first but that became fucking amazing

my only slight complaint is that none of these developers cant get cumshots right besides ddfun90(he made saturday night) or whatever his name is. it cant be hard to make a man squirt 4 or 5 times like in real life. i hate that flash and shes covered shit.

A very interesting and entertaining story. Quality renders with gorgeous women and different personalities. Its easy to get lost in the mystery as certain scenarios develop. Its the kind of game you don't want to end.

Excellent Novel! A Noir Detective theme, with a bad ass MC who sticks his nose where it doesn't belong. Trouble ensues, and he is drug further into the corruption than he had bargained for. Expect lots of action and sex, and plenty of dark secrets to unearth.

My favorite game of all thus far. You may get so immersed in the plot that you forget about the eroticism. Very few grammatical errors smooth playthrough. Graphics are very good quality, options are many, there's almost too many ways or paths to go in the story and stats work flawlessly. There's no grind to the game at all and you even get some satirical cameos in there that are absolutely hilarious if you've played other games.

This is a game where there is an atmosphere, an trial. And everything seems real. That's great rarity.
This is one of the best games of its kind I've ever played. Even thought it contains lots of sex and nudity, the main focus is on the story and the characters. I love the noir feel of it. The comparison to Heavy Rain is appropriate. 95% of the games posted on here are either a buggy, poorly written mess that is basically just spank bank material or degenerate pieces of shit. This is one of the diamonds in the rough. This, and Melody are the best games in the 'genre'.

Really liked this game, hope more will come soon. The models are nice, and it's great that there isn't a lot of going around finding content.
There's so much content, and the writing feels good too, making you move easily in the right direction. It's shame though that some characters left us already, but can't wait for more to come.
