Features:
- All of dialog in the game has been changed or replaced with new dialog so that Judy is now your actual daughter instead of step-daughter. Judy will refer to you as "Dad" or "Daddy" instead of your name and certain characters can become aware of the special relationship between you and Judy.
- There is now a full in-game walkthrough for every important choice in the game! If a choice is required to see a scene it will be highlighted so you don't have to worry about missing scenes. Choices that aren't important and don't have lasting effects aren't highlighted so you still have freedom and can pick your preferred choice.

Not really. The above is a fanmade mod that changes relations in the game. The original game never had any incest content whatsoever.

Still not really. The thread is about the original game that simply has no incest. Also, there isn't even a step relationship, Judy is just the daughter of the MC's former fiancee.

Most games these days have incest patches. Dreams of Desire has no incest content unless you use the patch, and it has an incest tag. I thought it would be nice if the game got more traction on here.

Those games you mention was conceived as incest. This game not. That's the difference. We don't put false tags.
DoD started out with incest and had to change during the great patreon crackdown. Like lots of other games of that time. This game, Judy is your step daughter. You foolishly married her mother who ended up being a cheating bitch and somehow got thrown in jail. I can't wait for the epilogue where she gets out of jail and finds out your fucking her daughter!

Judy is neither your/the MC's step daughter, nor did he marry her mother. She was just his fiancee.
The MC did marry Judy's mother, in fact he's still married to her and hasn't even divorced her yet.
Choice at the start of the game: "Talk about your wife"
"You've gotta be kidding me. My wife sleeps around on me {i}and{/i} gets herself sent to prison, and now her daughter wants to stay with me?"

From what I remember, they were about to get married, but then he found out about her 'adventures' with her boss which also brought her to jail.
He says he's not divorced yet, but he may as well be, because he actually hasn't divorced his wife yet. The word fiancee is not used anywhere in the game. He refers to his wife as his wife, because they're married.
p "Sure thing. It's just my step-daughter of all people came back into town and I've got her staying at my place."

The breakfast dialogue in Christina's apartment, if you tell her the truth of how Judy and the MC know each other, also speaks of him being Judy's stepfather.
That said, any and all instances of Judy or Christina calling the MC "daddy" are just kinky roleplay on the girls' part, because it's how they roll, no wonder they became good friends so fast.
