Edit: so, what we can deduce from the multiple ending stuff here: the second game will probably also get a BS shock Harem ending and then the true ending after you complete all the other paths for the even more girls.

am I reading this wrong? shouldnt this say "6 different endings, one for each li"? or I read it right and the dev thinks people have absolutely no life?

No one liked the "edgy" harem ending, why not delete it out of existence all together and just replace it with the true one?

One of the advantages of a harem path is that you don't have to make several playthroughs of what's basically the same game. By gatekeeping it like that you are only making everyone waste their time.
And even in solo LI games, there's usually 1 or 2 LIs you don't like/care about and avoid playing their paths.

Why do you want to force players to play paths that they might have zero interest in?
There is nothing gain from making them waste their time

Even ctrl+skipping all of it 8 times would take hours.

When you make a decision regarding the playability of your game you need to keep in mind how that is going to benefit either you or the players, if it has no benefits and on the contrary, has demerits then it's probably not a good idea to do it.

Rhat's going to piss off new players that go for the harem path and get that ending, and they might not even know there's a true one or even bother to find out after that bad experience/disappointment. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel bro

made this a while back for another game I dropped when the dev thought making split paths with huge swats of mutually exclusive missable content in a harem game would be a great idea (dev later came out as a cuck, but that's beside the point)

Depth's Revival Final Stories Public Release

This update adds 9 new endings to the game.

I originally wanted to give each LI their own chapter long ending, but it would require a lot of time and I think that time is best spent on new projects, so I shortened what I had in mind for each girl into a mini ending. You'll get a glimpse of different paths that you could've taken in this update.

Jane, Lera, Sarah, Kaylie, Mary and Melinda now have their own endings. Jane, Mary and Melinda also now has a mini harem ending. MC now has a bad ending if you end up declining every girl.

And on top of all that, I've added a true ending for the game. To get this ending, you'll need to finish all ending for each LI. They're fairly short, and you can just pick the one you want from the main menu, each ending will get you closer to the true ending you can also repeat a girl's solo ending to collect the needed points. Anyway, after the game tells you to live the moment again simply just play through the wedding once again (you can do this by skipping ahead during a new game) and you're going to see a new path for MC.
