Imagine if Derp decides to open an animation studio. The hiring process would be wild. It's a valid point
But...
Put it this way: I dont have a resume. I don't care about my 'portfolio'. Because I'm the one doing the hiring. No one can pay me what I already make. I think at 20k+ a month, Derp isn't focused on where she can work. She's focused on who can work for her.
Not saying she shouldnt quit or w.e. Just a thought. Generally you dont worry about who can hire you if no one is capable of paying you what you yourself can make.
I disagree with this. She has been doing more and more SFW work and even in her NSFW stuff she clearly put an absolute ton of work into the lore and story of her big projects. She wants more than to just make smut and live off of the money. I actually really respect her for being able to see that and just moving on from this part of her life. It's a valid point

If hentai artists can get hired to work on regular anime productions, I don't see why having adult content as your portfolio necessarily excludes you from finding work. It's even an open secret that some of the more popular anime voice actors do hentai voice acting (ie Ikumi Hasegawa - Bocchi's Kita, 86's Vladilena - does hentai work under the alternate name Kyouko Akabane) or hentai/nfsw artists doing mainstream work like Hideaki Anno (Gainax founder, Evangelion) worked on Cream Lemon and Monogatari's Akiyuki Shinbou worked on Unbalance.Think about it from a career perspective too. They have over a decade of work that they can't include in their portfolio. She has talent and can't prove it to a potential client or employer without risking getting blacklisted by using porn as her reference. I'd move on too.
Everyone you just listed has a SFW career that they can reference though. They may do NSFW work, but it's not their primary career and it's divorced from their mainstream work. Derpixion has Derpixion. Also, I get the vibe they live not in Japan and trust me the temperature for finding work in most places if you do anything NSFW is very bad. You only giving one example for an EN creative while having a list for Japanese creatives is kind of telling don't you think. If hentai artists can get hired to work on regular anime productions, I don't see why having adult content as your portfolio necessarily excludes you from finding work. If you think it's cause Japan is special, Dan Green the EN voice actor for Yugi in Yugioh did/does yaoi hentai voice work.
Because they were able to get a job despite having only NSFW.Everyone you just listed has a SFW career that they can reference though
Hope someone has them :Sjust found out today and noticed even the google drive links are dead... jesus should have made a copy at some point
