I´m getting some weird text when I hover over the diffrent selections in the "home screen", anything to do with the mod or is it the game causing it?

Thanks for the Mod,and let's hope we don't have to play the game from the beginning again in the next update.
You won't, the replay from the beginning was they updated the game to a new Ren'Py version, the one they were using was very old, the new lets them do more things in game now, along with some reworked content at the beginning so all content looks the same throughout.

Updated my compressed Android port of Desert Stalker with AdanGC's walkthrough mod to v0.17.1.1.

Got some basic gestures loaded in: swipe up for save menu, swipe down to hide UI, swipe left to rollback and swipe right to skip. Save files are now stored in the Documents folder. This sometimes means that you may need to close and re-open the port after installing so the save folder is properly created.

Please let me know if you encounter any issues with the port and I'll see what I can do to get them sorted.

ok i guess have found a bug (at least looks like bug with me) with Kyra
i have left her in basement for Ains punishment. After that i think i have told her that she will stay here for a while.
and basement was grey out. done all the quests till only Old Cairo remained (till have brought fairy)
so now can at at least enter basement and access her (as long as i access her 1st), if i do daily with fairy 1st its still greyed out.
in meanwhile quest was always to take her there and to wait

just bug easy to miss, if you dont take her or tell her later after Ains punishment you are stucked with raiders and locked out of basement till you bring someone new in.

Right at the very start the game highlights "disarm her" instead of "take her out" as if that's the best option that'll get a scene... but it's a choice: disarm her if you want the nice scene, take her out if you want to use her bloody and to get to piss on her afterwards. Even if you choose the rough scene you can still get with both the raider sisters later, there's no justification for making one choice seem like the "correct" one.

And the trend continues from there, more times than not when there's a highlighted option it's not the case that you've gotta take it at all. One choice will be highlighted green when maybe a couple or all of them are valid, or it tries to steer you towards a particular flavour of dialogue without indicating it's a choice and you may miss out on what you actually want.

So yeah, not that helpful really other than the times it just shows the point scores for choices. It's not what you'd really expect from a walkthrough mod - they're supposed to help players find the route through the game they want, not just tell people what options the mod creator is into.

Yeap I kind of agree, I'm doing two playthroughs like I did before the rework, Nice play and Rough play, and usually only the rough playthrough uses most of the highlighted green options. Anyway I use more the pdf walkthrough (no sharing one) than the mod recommended choices itself. The pdf WT is much more clear on how I'll choose for each one of the playthroughs. My main playthrough is the Nice play of course hehe.

The advice I could give the mod author is to use the pdf walkthrough as a base for a more clear information on what the outcomes are. And the mod become more informative than "this is the best choice". Afterall my goal on being here on the mod thread is also to help the modder to create a better and improved mod.

AdanGC Mods, I'm not sure if you will need to update your mod or not, it was updated today to fix a few bugs.

- Fixed an issue with the gallery scenes having the same hint
- Fixed an issue with the new car event triggering too early (should also resolve the incorrect jump within the event)
- Fixed an issue with Kyra's trip to Adira being locked out if you visited her in the basement and told her to wait
- Fixed an issue with the Codex screen not being draggable on PC/Mac
- Fixed an incorrect jump in Emilia's introduction scene which would cause the game to continue to the next scene automatically.
- Fixed an incorrect flag for some dialogue variation in Emilia's introduction
- Fixed a flag not being set correctly during Nadia's market scene
- Fixed a missing blocker for Shani's repeatable sparring session
- Fixed a replay scene ("Foreign Affairs") that couldn't be unlocked in the gallery

the mod doesn't overwrite files and from what i've seen (tested a few choice screens to see if the walkthrough does its job), it still works properly.
