That is what it means her being your ally .. MC is overrun by the hive grunts and he barely makes it out when he goes in guns blazing. The breeding is the ”arranged marriage” where MC gives his essence to form the bond necessary for the alliance to get forged.
Funny how many viewers are happy of the antagonists being OP plot armored in G0T/House of the dragon type series where filler ”good guys” get killed off for your tragedy boner to throbbb like you want it to, but somehow this game letting you kill off some of your allies by voracious incompetence while making your MC look dumb brute surviving by sheer luck means a shallow story in your dark immagination.
The consequence is directly that of appeasing the two warring factions MC got in the middle of - mutants versus hive
You might be lacking in the fairy tales department, gamer. There are, for your viewing/reading plasure, gore filled horror movies, series, comics and games and loads of manga predicated on the gore of ”children stories” where the vilains are OP plot armored and the antihero protagonists get damaged and ragdolled and heartaches for the fun of the masochist readers/viewers.
