It has been a long journey so far, but we are really excited for what comes next and hope you stay around for the ride. Just as a side note: As already mentioned in the initial release post, future releases will (also for technical reasons) go through the usual earlier access period of becoming available through the different tiers before eventually going live on Steam.

Desert Stalker is now available!
The time has come to delve into the wasteland
It's finally here!
The past 4 years have been a long but rewarding journey, and we are excited to find out together with you what lies ahead.
What started out as a one-person passion project has now evolved into something more, while building a small team behind it in the process.
We invite everyone to dive in and explore a post-apocalyptic world filled with danger, action and intimate encounters. What awaits you is plenty of choices to shape your path, potentially impact the wasteland itself and maybe have a sexual adventure or two (well, most likely more).
With more than 12,000 renders and 300 animations so far, there is a sizeable amount of content ready to enjoy while we keep working on adding content to the game over time.
We hope everyone enjoys what we have to offer. Let us know what you think!

Should we wait for the Steam version to be released or is it also playable here? I feel like I've been waiting for decades for this game to be updated. It was so boring waiting for a big update.
Steam version is quite a bit bigger than the 0.17 beta 3.4 gigs vs 4.55 gigs. Is the steam version a newer version?

It has bug fixes since the beta and higher resolution images.
Yes, it is, Ains punishment is working, pictures in harem are loading correctly.. no text about missing pictures... looks well... for fast test, not for complete playthrough.

Question : If you buy the game on steam, do you have access to all the future updates as well (and for free?) Or you will have to buy the updates like call of duty extra maps ? haha
in the header Desert Stalker [v0.17.1.1 Steam] [Zetan] is not in the steam version, no one can download it?

The early access games I've bought in the past tend to INCLUDE future updates in the cost (so pay once and get updates without paying more). Yes, there MAY be additional DLC packs (not mentioned for this) to raise additional money, but the base game SHOULD be updated without additional cost.

EDIT: on Steam they say that updates will be FREE, so pay once get everything (unless they do extra DLC like outfits or something).
