i have a question on the free roam in the living room for the older daughter i cannot use the option to focus on her unlike on everybody else did i miss something or is that content just not available yet

Not available yet. She's in a couple of the scenes, I think, or at least one with Ain, but there are no specific living room events for her ATM

Ain found herself excited this week. Her trip to the market was memorable - it was filled with merchants and the array of their... goods. However, that excitement might have gotten the better of her... and that's where the second part of the scene comes into play, which I plan to dive into next week.
Sex aside... it also sets the stage for Ain’s potential future, exploring the different paths that could lead there.
Render progress:
- Emilia's second event: 100%
- Ain's market scene: 50%
Reworks:
Ain's attempted kidnapping (d4b): 100%
First Asani visit (d6b): 30%
Script writing: 0%
Animations: 0%

SS changelog lists it as v0.17.1.2, which was uploaded and made public the same day as it is was uploaded to here.

  • Fixed an issue with the new car event triggering too early (should also resolve the incorrect jump within the event)
  • Fixed an issue with Kyra's trip to Adira being locked out if you visited her in the basement and told her to wait
  • Fixed an issue with the Codex screen not being draggable on PC/Mac
  • Fixed an incorrect jump in Emilia's introduction scene which would cause the game to continue to the next scene automatically.
  • Fixed an incorrect flag for some dialogue variation in Emilia's introduction
  • Fixed a flag not being set correctly during Nadia's market scene
  • Fixed a missing blocker for Shani's repeatable sparring session
  • Fixed a replay scene ("Foreign Affairs") that couldn't be unlocked in the gallery.

Welp... I guess my maths is really pathetic then!! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

By sheer mathematical logic, 0.17.2 is hogher than 0.17.1.2!!! LOL!!!! I'll nuke my post in that case - thanks Sons!! (y) (y)

Yeah, because I posted this the 30th, so maybe the version number did change and I didn't notice.

Translations are back!

Hey everyone,
The initial translations update is here! You can now experience Desert Stalker in multiple languages.

We would like to apologize for the initial state of the release regarding translations, which gave false impressions and left many players unable to properly enjoy the game. We should have known better, but it is still a learning process for us.

That said, a huge "thank you" goes to community members
Aler, AHHCrazy, Darax, Eagle1900, and Kasatik for their invaluable effort in translating the game.
Thanks to them, the game is now available in the following languages:
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Traditional Chinese
  • Spanish
  • Italian
  • Russian

The full change log is listed below.

Known Issues
We wanted to give you an update as soon as possible, but this meant that due to the volume of the text currently in-game (~260,000 words), there might be some strings are are either partially translated or untranslated.

If you happen to encounter any incorrect text, please let us know on the Steam forums or our Discord. It will help us properly polish the translations.

We are also aware that some quests are not updating properly for a few players. We fixed many instances that could cause this, but we will continue to monitor and correct any other cases that are identified.

  • Fixed an incorrect pose sequence of Sair in the Zone
  • Fixed an incorrect expression sequence when you prepare for Old Cairo with Shani
  • Convesations with Shani in her room should not block you from interacting further with her anymore

But, just now I checked Steam and I see this tiny update from 1/04/2025


- Italian language should now work properly
- Fixed an issue with special characters in save names causing crashes
