You don't need fix. AFAIK By default the simple files have priority over the files in the .rpa

There is an interaction between Shani and Zaton where she tells him she´s into girls too, and not just as a kink thing. So Shani is at the very least bissexual. An event where Shani has girl-on-girl action is very well possible, and Mandisa is a good candidate for that. If you think that she has helped Shani with her fight training, she might be able to offer help in "other areas".
I assumed this was a solo visit from Shani with how he worded the progress report to only mention Shani for this particular scene, but mentions Shani & MC going on a mission together.

That's honestly kind of what I'm expecting too. Shani is at least a partial main protagonist and there was definitely a bit of connection between her and Merneith even without Zaton's involvement, so it wouldn't be unusual to give her the opportunity to have some one-on-one time with Merneith before we go for the big finale with everyone involved.

Yeah, when I read about and saw the preview images for the upcoming Mandisa scene I also could practically see the temp thread lockdown in my mind if it optionally offers what I think it will.
If it is a save from Ver 0.17 onward , Yes saves before that version don't work
