I see that old saves won't work, but did the dev give an answer as to why? Did he rework some internal structures?

Everything MAGO-DAG said and also the fact that coupled with the new reworks + upgrading to the new version of Ren'PY, there has been a lot of internal code structure changes between V0.16 and V0.17, thus causing old saves to not work as intended which is why its been stated multiple times by the dev and their team to start with a new save game when booting up V0.17.

I have my theory that very dark skinned looks worse in games than irl because of the lighting. But more than that I also dislike her because she is to tall, muscular, HUGE boobs, weird eyes that don't seem to match. But then the game gives us Fangs
and Mandisa
, which I do find pretty hot. So I don't know what o tell you. It is a weird take you have for this particular VN, considering most of the girls appear to be mixed and/or non-caucasian.

I just browsing to find actor and actress look alike but they have different race/skin color, and they are exist. So Dev can actually make Caucasian and Asian based model with black skin. They will be fine and more selection to choose for black character.

On one hand feels like a missed opportunity perhaps, but I suppose (all of) this would have been a bridge to far at that point in the story. (Still, would make for some awesome extra/bonus content (hint/tip))
What/how are we feeling about Kyra not being caged anymore? Dev changed his mind on some things I suppose.
Still would have been more realistic she would have been chained up as well. She can practically move freely and have a chance to lash out or something, or sneak/break out and pay Zaton a night visit?
So I guess it does mean dev has to put more effort in to rework Ain's punishment (which is the reason it's missing from the beta I suppose).
Loving the title screen btw. Good vibes, fits the season! Feels also a bit 'demoscene'

I was writing some findings down of my 0.17 beta playthrough. I thought this particular scene could have been a few notches hotter even if:
- Shani starts kissing the queen (instead of just leaning forward to her talking her up);
- Shani licking Zaton's cum of Queen's face;
- Shani starts kissing the Queen afterwards, sharing cum.

But a big thumbs up to everything you suggested, particularly the cumswapping. It might have been to far at the time (like you also pointed out), but it would´ve been hot as hell. I hope in the future, with the Queen´s corruption quest, that you´ll be able to give her something, even when you don´t have sex with her.
As for Kyra in the basement, I haven´t reached to that part yet. If you´re talking about Ain´s punishment, when Kyra is in a cage watching, then I have two thoughts: if Kyra is free to move around, I hope she can be involved in the punishment somehow. If she isn´t involved, then she probably should be restrained somehow. After all she´s a prisoner at the time.
I´ll just say that if she´s involved in Ain´s punishment, it would be hotter (for me), if she was in the cage.
