As much as I'm glad that the game is on Steam and that the developers are getting more money and more interest in the game, if there are going to be limitations and changes during the development process, as mentioned in the thread above, I honestly think it's going to backfire badly on the developers.

The steam update was impressive, good to see some "untouched" characters getting extra attention. Bunch of new characters are added too. Hopefully, the focus on the "family" dynamics will not take a backseat. And hopefully, their content will not become more tame as they gain more fame. Even Rockstar games has decided to root out "problematic" content from their past and future games, so success can be a double edged sword for edgy games sometimes. Hoping for the best, and fapping.

Well, anyways as long as there is only the one scene at the start with Ain and Zhara that is altered I guess I have to live with it and instead feel happy about better renders and looks.

Very true. It is still setting a precedent though and still a completely illogical stance and thing to cut given the rest of the 'daughter' content that is in the VN...but...*shrugs*

Putting it back in is actually a pretty simple process, if there really is enough interest then I'll be happy to make a RCM for this scene and this scene alone unless someone beats me to it.

If you ask me it makes more sense in the new release, and it is really not a big deal , was the old scene good and hot hell yes, but the new scene is also good and hot only that it lacks Ains involvment, and there are plenty of other scenes that are much better after the rework. no biggie if you ask me.

I've been quickly skipping through 0.16 and 0.17 side by side and am impressed with a lot of the earlier scenes being re-rendered. Improves the game quality making it more consistent.

I haven't gone through the whole game comparison yet, but it seems that "Ain's Massage" may have been removed (as well as the earlier Zahra & Ain scene in the game, and previously discussed in this thread) or have I not reached that bit yet?

I'm missing Ain's massage on 17.1 as well. Is this a bug or was it removed intentionally?

I am still feeling I need a bit more info about what changed to feel mentally prepared.

They could have cut out all content with omar or whoever that cuck dude was. But Ain is a little sensitive topic for me

Also, there is probably a decent chunk of people on Patreon who either forgot to cancel a subscription or keep it going year-round without noticing. It happens with every subscription service. A lot of people just forget to cancel things, myself included. So you'd be losing out on the "forgetters".

what you do is, you quietly change the link in the game from shitreon to substar.
the forgetters on shitreon keep on paying. while new customers sign up on substar.
this prepares you for the inevitable time where shitreon cancels your account

Where are you located? I am German. DS is blocked here. I tried to connect to US steam via VPN but it was the same. Maybe a country within the eurozone would work better?

I am spanish. Beware of vpns on steam. I know people that has been banned. Buying with vpn is not illegal but goes against the terms of use.

More like 3-5 minutes. If you right click with a mouse on the skip button you will be forwarded to the next choice.

In a new save you can't skip the text. Unless there's an option in the configuration? I should have looked T.T

I really don't understand what this fuss was all about, turns out what Paz said is true, Ain has more participation in the whole story, there were 5 outdated renders taken out and traded for overall more scenes where she participates and we get to know her character.
The whole Ivy story is rerenderd and much better and overall it feels much more smother the storytelling has improved and the renders and cutscenes as well,
If some want to keep arguing about 5 renders well do it you miss out a story which was good and now is so much better !

In line with your thinking, I believe the 5 renders that were taken out were more than made up for the fact that we get Ain more immersed into the overall narrative.

I think it is valid enough of a tradeoff IMO We gain something substantially recognizable for giving up something, so all is not totally lost

I say just enjoy the storyline as it is in the current version and take the time to soak up all the new questlines and additional character development scenes. Once some folks take the time to explore the newly added content, I think the justification to remove certain outdated renders/acts from some character arcs will make a lot more sense and seem more appropriate in the grand scheme of things. Just my $0.02.

Given what I've read thus far regarding the developer himself "choosing" to remove scenes so that he can have it on Steam and Cucktreon, I guess that's the one to hold on to. No point in continuing to follow (and definitely not purchase) if the developer is just going to be self-censoring going forward.

Shame, another one ruined. Now to just wait for that one guy on here to chime in and say Steam is perfectly fine with stuff and it totally doesn't ruin games when they make their debut on there....
