I downloaded the compressed version due to storage limitations, and there are a number of images "not found", like
d4b-23x-1 and d4b-41s. Can someone confirm if it's a problem with the game itself, or the compressed version?

happened to me as well so if i had to guess id say yes... similar to how when you go on a date with your wife people say they heard shani was back and seen in the palace when she hasnt yet in my playthrough...
every time we get new content we have the option to change the timeline of events on a clean run.. hence such issues may occur...

speaking of story mismatches... this is a conversation after the execution of the elf in the arena..
i've noticed before that she dont like the mc but wasnt sure why until now.. odd thing is that i didnt chew her out when first meeting her at the palace entrance.. i used the first option of introducing myself normally...

I'm still wondering about MC's line to Asha "But if someone saves your ass two times..." because I don't remember saving her ass once, let alone twice. Is it cut content or something?

well you for sure "save" her once when you dont kill her at the first encounter with her...
i dont remember a 2nd time off the top of my head.. but i suppose saving her sister could count as the 2nd time... or maybe not ordering her to blow the masked guy after saving her sister.. idk..

Been playing this game since day 1 and it continues to be fantastic. I am however slightly concerned about the sprawling storyline, multiple loose ends and how many "to be continued" quests there are currently. The game came out in late 2020. It's now mid-2025. We might not see the end of it by 2030 at the current pace. Not necessarily a bad thing from a smut/harem perspective but I wonder how Zetan will tie up the still-evolving and expanding quest lines and factions eventually.

I think it doesn't matter much because version 0.17 required a new start anyway.

Retaking the base with her sister probably does save her life; the new leadership is already trying to kill her, without her sister's return it's just a matter of time, and Kyra can't do it without your help. You also fight by her side at the gates of the base, if you want to count that. I do agree that calling sparing her life "saving" her is pretty much talking shit.

I noticed that one too, It's not a big deal, but it does break the immersion.
