Good question, but it happened to me once, for a game about a rapey insane ex inmate on the lose with the complicity of his psychiatric evaluator. I downloaded the new update and no save was there. I go to look for the ren'py roaming folder and it wasn't there. My best guess, i erased it by mistake. I didn't bother re-playing the game, it's not worth the time but i think it'll make you happy that i didn't ask around for saves
Yes, it won't change my enjoyment of the game, but this game is too great and unique to be “played” in this way. I can't change the people who beg for 100% saves here, but at least I can discourage this nonsense by not indulging their laziness..And this is something that each of us can do if we believe that DS deserves to be immersed in this well-crafted and atmospheric world and enjoyed for its storyline and characters. (imo)
agreed. Myself personally, I reread every line thrice before clicking on next image. only then you can feel the grandiose of desert stalker in its full glory
I agree with that. Plus, the sex scenes hit a lot more if you play the game, the build up and teasing is where it really shines.

How do you lose a save? Hard drive failure, perhaps? Imagine losing all your personal files. Documents, pictures, years of important and valuable data, suddenly gone! You'd be freaking out, right? Nah, let's go on the F-Zone and beg other dudes for their sloppy seconds-saves to jerk off to.

On this take i side with you. It's like when american tourists go to a good restaurant in Florence, order a steak a la fiorentina and they want to pur sauces on it.
Fortunately, not all Americans are uncultured swine. I try only ever to use whatever the locals would use in a meal.
As an American, I prefer my steaks grilled, medium rare, with a little salt and pepper. I've passed this onto my children, as well.
Oh, I absolutely have my preferred way of eating things, including steaks. But I try to broaden my experiences by eating like the locals do when abroad (within reason; I'm not eating durian or insects). For me, that means having cuisine the way they create it instead of imposing my own American tastes on their food. Thus, my own MC in this game will eat (out) pretty much any local female cuisine on the menu.
Oh definitely. I like to try different dishes the way they are prepared and expected to be eaten. I guess I was more commenting on the other guy who said Americans like to dump sauces on their steaks... and that simple isn't always the case.

Some do and putting sauce on a ubertop quality cut of beef should be illegal. Sauce is meant to hide the taste of not so good meat. Good thing that a lot of people travel to experience other cultures' way of doing things.
