Desert Stalker [v0.19.2]ranslation patch for 19 languages and English Voice

[v0.19.2] The translation patch has been uploaded.


Usage:

Please make sure to back up your game and save files.After extracting, place the files into the "game" folder.Since the translation files are quite large, loading may take a bit longer.Inside the tl folder, you can keep your preferred language.iIf you don’t need voice, you don’t need to download voice.zip.If it doesn’t work, On the first launch, the game will recompile the files, which may take quite a while.



Due to conflicts between the code and voice playback, in a few places the auto-play may be paused, but this will not affect normal gameplay.







Some languages require specific fonts to display correctly. After changing the font, a restart is required for the changes to take effect.

Good question, though.

1. Desert Stalker, of course.
2. Basic [the more recent version] and Patch, I assume (and voice, if you want it). I've never used his translations since I don't need them, so I'm only guessing that's what you need.

I tried an old universal .rpy but it only removes the text box.

You can use URM for such purposes.

1. Extract it on game folder.
   • Since it's a universal mod -which people often use for cheats-, you can add it to nearly any Ren'Py game. I suggest you keep the .zip file and then extract the file to whatever game so it's easier later on.
2. After loading your save, press Alt + M to open the menu.
3. In "Textboxes", select "Enabled" and then "Add"
4. Now you can start customising your textbox to your heart's content.
   • Mind you: the font won't be the exact same as the game intended (ArefRuqaa-Regular), since it's not available as an option. Your mileage may vary.

Or, if you're literally just looking to change the text size and don't want to change the look, etc., you can edit the gui file. With the game closed, in the "game" folder, open "gui.rpy" (you need notepad++ or a similar editor). Scroll down a bit until you find the text sizes, the ones you probably most need to look at are these, which are for names and dialogue (example taken from another game):

define -2 gui.text_size = 44
define -2 gui.name_text_size = 60

Just change the numbers (trial and error), save the file, and reload the game.

Hello everyone..I want to ask this; there are two girls at the beginning of the game. I didn't save one of them, the collar blew her head off. The other one was in the mission we went to with Shani. They were slaughtering and eating her when we left. If we don't save these two girls, do we lose the mission part of the game or does the game crash?

No but you miss a lot of content, which serves you right you let Ivy die you monster.....
the whole Mutant arc and the whole Raider arc won't show up for you.
