Great, neither I have neither.
I cloned games from a 2 TB Nvme to a 4TB, the save files weren't on the same drive, most likely in the Windows folders, which had to be wiped out by installing a prime version of Windows 11 Pro.
There are games I have just to keep in my library, that I won't bother restarting, this one though, is one of my favorites, so restarting isn't going to be an issue.
Thanks for the direction, I appreciate it.

Do we know it was the dev who put that up? Maybe mod because some drama?
I love both game, hope both have long life.

I didn't see anything in the forums of that game but your attitude is probably the right one to have.
Whatever the reason stuff like that really rubs me the wrong way for some reason so I reacted in an unusually derisive manner for me.
I love post-apocalyptic stuff so I'm sure I'll enjoy the game well enough.

Would you guys like a route where if MC is loyal to Queen she gives him an official position as high ranking general and an army to train? With that there could be coded either a minigame or high variety choices in how you spread your forces and what aspects you put resources into. In the long run MC then succeeds the throne and becomes king of this empire if he is successful in strengthening borders, settlements, forging alliances and doesn't get overthrown or betrayed of course. Could be interesting in distant future :)

It's and idiotic thing to do as it's so annoying. You have DS one of the Top VN's out at the moment being compared to that much smaller VN, it should be motivational that game gets a lot more views because DS has a similar setting.

They need better writing and the lack of content is holding it back.

This is such a unnecessarily hostile post. You do know that devs dont have admin/moderator permissions and cannot delete reviews right? In fact the mods take action when devs try and manipulate reviews. That's not the only game where this has happened. Well, that kind of is Zaton's position now, isn't it?

But I don't think that trying to turn this VN into a grand strategy game is a good idea.

I mean, it could be fantastic to have a grand strategy RPG (like Crusader Kings) set in the Desert Stalker universe, the lore is certainly good enough for it.

But it's a stretch to make something like that in Ren'py, and I think that at this point it would be a waste of dev time.

At the end of the day, this *is* still a porn game. As such (at least for me) the ratio between gameplay, story and lewds must be right. This VN is already very story-heavy for a porn game. Adding gameplay would decrease the relative amount of lewd even further. And this isn't about dev time either, it's about the player, because he has to read the story, play the game and keep his dick hard / pussy wet for the lewds.

The "The DeLuca Family" is a game which, although fantastic, clearly doesn't have enough lewds compared to gameplay and story.

Yeah, tbh, the lore and overarching narrative are rich in the game as it stands. I think the Dev needs to be careful to not (figuratively speaking) put too many eggs in their basket to the point that it overflows.

Stick to your guns and keep all your ducks in a row. Rather than try and mould the game into something that is not, you may end up risking losing out on your target audience if you veer in a direction that isn't a core gameplay component of your game.

I find that the balance thus far in the game is decent/suitable enough (for my tastes at-least). At least, there isn't any super/egregious heavy emphasis on sandbox elements that much (so less clicking around) so to speak.

This is a male protagonist game.
When your daughter-waifu goes on a quest, you can optionally control her. (if not, she just tells you summary of what happened to her).
Which amounts to roughly 1% of the game.
It really shouldn't have the female protagonist tag. but I am not the site owner so it is not up to me to decide this.
