would have loved to see are different ways to address the MC for Ain and Shani
I know that, but thank you^ You can edit details to change how the relationship variables work in the game.... but I think what you are inferring to are like nicknames or pet names that both Ain/Shani can refer to the MC? Like 'Daddy' or 'Sir' or something along those lines?...
No, that makes it more strange that I didn´t get it, because I had the veranda scene. Maybe I didn´t check at the right time.Yeah, that's unusual...... Shani only becomes available in the common room for sexy time after you do the Veranda event with her You might have missed that prerequisite or something.....
Yeah, I wholeheartedly agree... would better reflect the relationship dynamics and build even more chemistry between the MC and his family members if the option to provide custom pet names was made available.... maybe in subsequent updates once we progress their relationship more we might see this actually being a thing..Like, Ain is a super Sweet "Daddy's Girl" so calling the MC Daddy for example would totally fit her Personality and how she acts towards the MC.
Yeah up until the most recent update that was the case, until she opened up to the MC more upon completing her initation trial as a Desert Stalker when returning from the ZoneWhile Shani, until recently, is a way more reserved Person who acts more distant towards the MC
Yeah, good observation. It is moreso meant to represent what IRL family dynamics are like, because some daughters may be more close to their dad or mom based on who they take after the most. It is good to have diverse representation in their personalities (while still retaining certain similarities) to make their interactions more memorable and personable to witness.Although even without that I really like how the 2 Girls are written so different but still are so similar. Like how, despite their different Personalities, they envy each other for their unique "things" they have with the MC
Yeah, and the more bonding the MC does with his family members in individual events or group family events, the more chemistry we build and other intricate details about their respective personalities will be revealed as well to determine more about their likes vs dislikes and other facets about their persona.Like Ain with how the MC takes Shani out all the Time, to Train her. And Shani on the other side envies Ain for how "close" she and MC are.
Oh ok, then just try sleeping for a day and let the game's internal clock progress. See if the event makes itself available the next day since you've fulfilled that event criteria. You should see the 'exclamation mark' appear in the living room which would indicate that a new scene/event is available.because I had the veranda scene. Maybe I didn´t check at the right time
Would love such a option, although I believe at this point of the Development it would be a lot of Work to implement it on the programming side. Like you would have to code the function and then go through the whole script to look for where to set the flags, at least if you want to implement it retroactively.Yeah, I wholeheartedly agree... would better reflect the relationship dynamics and build even more chemistry between the MC and his family members if the option to provide custom pet names was made available.... maybe in subsequent updates once we progress their relationship more we might see this actually being a thing..
Yeah, would be a perfect opportunity to have a nickname system reflect the change for both, Shani and the MC. If their behavior towards each other changes depending on the environment they are in. Be it more Private/Family where they are less reserved vs. more Official Environments like on Stalker business or so.Yeah up until the most recent update that was the case, until she opened up to the MC more upon completing her initation trial as a Desert Stalker when returning from the Zone
Yeah, it is an interesting idea. Albeit, this is moreso a question for the dev and their team to see how they could implement this function and especially finding where to set the flags as you said would be problematic because there are a lot of events strewn around in this game that make it more challenging to figure out.Like you would have to code the function and then go through the whole script to look for where to set the flags, at least if you want to implement it retroactively
Not even close...sorry.Working on recreating Zahra...
Think she's very close.

Best wife/mistress/soulmate in New Cairo and beyond, right?
Apocalypse itself isn't that bad when you've such a girl.
Cudos to the dev once again for creating such great characters!
Basically yes. The hardest probably is to do this retroactively, right from the beginning it's much easier. To your second point, you mean as in the ability to personalize and/or segment the nickname system based on their current environments? I.e., if Shani and the MC are exploring a Zone or out on Stalker-related work, they would have a more professional naming convention/nickname in place whereas if they are at home and/or doing non-related Stalker work, then their nicknames would be more affectionate and/or amicable in nature.. to reflect their immediate environments and/or current task at hand
If so, that would be interesting to see, but maybe more difficult to code in I presume because the game would have to factor in the environment they are in and know when to set the proper nicknaming alias based on the defined scripted event in question....![]()
no idea what you mean by "icing on the cake" that much. English not being my language but I know approx. what the expression means, maybe not fully. You have the feeling Shani or Ain are not already giving enough for the mc? Missing something? I can understand about Shani but I'm sure it will come soon, as in the last update she become integrated with the main couple/breeder/future wife thing of theirs. Shani is very new to it. About Ain, I'm not sure what is missing in your hopes. Not gonna lie, didn't think I would like the Game as much as I di in the End. Really good Character writing in my opinion. Only, small, thing I would have loved to see are different ways to address the MC for Ain and Shani. Would be the "icing on the cake" Atmosphere wise for me.
“Icing on the cake” means something that makes a good thing even better, even if it’s not essential.no idea what you mean by "icing on the cake" that much. English not being my language but I know approx. what the expression means, maybe not fully
yes but then, there is a kind disappointment, something you would have liked/hoped for. that's what I asked what kind of thing that would have been better than it is already.“Icing on the cake” means something that makes a good thing even better, even if it’s not essential.
With the number of routes and events taking place in the game already, I would presume programming in a custom nickname system based on the specific event that the characters find themselves interacting in, would be a challenging endeavour to say the least.if you want to expand the System to also make a difference in what Situation the Interaction is happening
Yeah, I can potentially see this working as well...again it just depends on the dev's current appetite on whether they see this as a feature worth allocating developer time and resources to. To be fair, this is just an additional layer of personalization to each person's gameplay experience in DS.....It is interesting to speculate about and theorize, but when it comes down to implementing it, it may reveal an added layer of complexity based on the original idea.much easier as it would be just a writing thing
They just want to see a custom nickname system in place. E.g., Ain/Shani refer to the MC using pet names (e.g., like daddy) when they are not on official Stalker business...or if they are out on official business, Ain/Shani have another way of expressing the MC in more formal terms....that's what I asked what kind of thing that would have been better than it is already
Easiest way to be specifically name the renders for a given scene with a scene prefix. Easy enough to send a call to then. With the number of routes and events taking place in the game already, I would presume programming in a custom nickname system based on the specific event that the characters find themselves interacting in, would be a challenging endeavour to say the least.
oh ok, but then the editing/choice about being stepdad or whatever we want (dad/uncle/bf...) would lose its thing except with a few words from random dialogues like "sugar/master/sir/sweety ..." no matter what we chose for the mc being to be about them. They just want to see a custom nickname system in place. E.g., Ain/Shani refer to the MC using pet names (e.g., like daddy) when they are not on official Stalker business...or if they are out on official business, Ain/Shani have another way of expressing the MC in more formal terms....
Just to add a layer of personalization to one's playthrough... I've seen games do this before (notably in harems) where they give you the option to customize what the girls in the harem refer to you as once you've had a chance to significantly build up your relationship with them in game.
Yeah, precisely right. That is why I alluded to this in my earlier response of the "appetite" the dev may have if they plan on implementing this function this far into development with the many character events and whatnot already codified into the game....Absolute pain in the ass? Yes. Headache inducing? Yes. Time-consuming for no real reward? Absolutely. Likely to be done. I seriously doubt it. Be a nice concept and clever, but would need to have been done and coded that way from day one.
