OK so plowed through this game all in like 5 or so days (really good imo) to someones earlier comment about the game not going into detail about the actual relationship between the kids and the MC and his wife they give a vague description early in the game and I am pretty sure they say exactly how later. I would rehash but just don't want to mess with the spoilers but yeah not blood related like the game says early on.
Really liking this game and I am curious roughly how long of a turn around is it between updates. It seems this last one just dropped so I am assuming I got a while to wait just curious if it's the norm (or what I have sort of seen to be the norm) of around 6 months?
Lastly I have two issues I ran into. The first is one I have read a few times already the Lehira quest I have waited many many days nothing. I seen someone post a file but it just pulls up a webpage with a bunch of text so not sure if I am suppose to copy and paste it in a word document then put it in said location or not.
Second I have an exclamation mark like there is a quest in zahara's room but no matter what I do it only shows massage or leave. I feel like I tried every combination of what I could do in the place to try and make it pop but never does.
I apologize if these are simple fixes and I am just to dumb to do search right but any help would be appreciated.

The dialogue and back story changes if you make them daughters instead of step. The intent is clear however as the daughters bear clear physical resemblance to Zahra the story and culture makes a bit more sense in the uncensored version so I would say the actual canon is pretty clear.

Well Considering we had all the desert exploration etc then the hints of taking Ani to the market. The Igor scene was great, but I am invested in all the other stories as well lol. Plus the queen seemed like it was just getting started then ... cliffhanger lol
I really like that you can choose a diplomatic way almost in every situation, even if the game doesn't offer any other option often. Honestly, it's almost always a narrow line, but you can't expect an indie VN to be a full-fledged RPG.
My favorites are raider sisters and their settlement quest. I haven't reached the end of the game yet, but I have a feeling that MC will be a key to bond (or not) major factions against some common threat. And it seems that a raider clan is going to be one of those factions, I like it. Now that they have a steady source of income. That beats scavenging (c).
Devs managed to add layers to most characters. The Queen is an interesting person too, and my favorite after the sisters. She's cunning, brutal, determined, and cautious. It's convicible that she really is a leader and she learning constantly. Rather than she's some spoiled brat who believes in her exceptioness and holding onto her post only thanks to the armed forces. There is a character development. Her relations with MC is what I'd like to see more.
Animations, scenes, music and sound are good too. This is so far the most complex and well-designed adult VN I've ever seen. And I thought if this 'subgenre' as a flood of boring text between a few sex scenes. Devs managed to make it interesting.

As soon as I introduce Fairy to the family the game goes back to the menu, I haven't even finished the game yet, there's still the mutant arc, the looters arc, the queen arc and this new arc, what the fuck.

Not quite, it's just an incremental version. Beta version, then a, then b, then c and so on. Some updates got to d version because bugs needed fix

As others noted, you get an option to set the relationship because they're not allowed to say they're direct children due to censorship in other sites. You thus end up having to go through this really annoying section where you set the specific relationship manually even though it's obvious they're supposed to be your direct daughters. Both look like Zahra, and Shani's lighter skin and blue eyes hearken to the MC.
Regarding ages..
I believe the marriage is actually only 20 years, as at one point the main character says he's held Zahra's hand for 20 years. The relationship might have started quite a bit before the marriage, but I get the impression it was a relatively quick courtship. Still haven't actually seen the full reason why he left Rabiah, but he certainly got his relationship with Zahra started out at full speed, especially if he just grabbed her head and used her mouth and throat after she coyly signaled she wanted him.
BTW, It's likely Zahra had full intentions towards him pretty early on, given how she went about quietly pursuing him after having to wait so long for her opening, especially as that first oral with her suggests she had been practicing behind the scenes in prep for him. This is one of the reasons why I expect the courtship didn't take that long. Disentangling from the Rabiah relationship and dealing with possible blowback from the sisyers' family might have been major factors, but Zahra clearly wanted to go there, already, and it's likely the MC didn't deliberate, either.
Assuming Zahra was 18 when she imply-offered to "finish" the MC when Rebiah did not, and assuming it was a two-year courtship, that would put her at about 40. I'm going to guess the MC had at least 5 years on her, so am assuming he's abt 45. That's assuming minimal age of 18 for adulthood however... See the next point, below.
Regarding the artwork and their ages..
I also have noted that the characters look younger than one would assume, given the necessary ages; this is especially true of the girls who are noted as being only recently of adult age, such as younger Zahra (in the flashbacks/stories told to Nadia) and Ain. Notice that when the characters say someone is "of adult age", that's not a specific, spoken number.
Now, I'm not saying anything was taken into account here in the game.... But the Pre-industrial/traditional standards of many societies around the world peg the age of adulthood about 5 years younger than nowadays, and the artwork strongly suggests that standard, tho it's always possible to write that off for stylistic reasons. For a certainty, officially every adult is 18 or higher, in this game.
