How far along does everyone think we are? How many episodes are we expecting?
The story's premise and lore is deep enough that, like Star Trek, it can go on forever.
The main arc is, in my opinion, the brewing conflict between Zeta and the Decayed.
If the devs would purely focus on that, and not on any further character developement nor on any lewd scenes, then I still think it needs a minimum of 6 updates or so.
But it's clear that the devs won't purely focus on the Zeta vs Decayed arc. Shani still needs to be further developed, with a few more solo missions. The relationship between Zaton and the Queen (and Shani) needs to reach a conclusion. The entire storylines of the Mutants, the Raiders and Ivy are quite open-ended but still need to be somewhat further developed, which also ties in with the Zeta vs. Decayed storyline.
All in all, I think we are not even half-way.
But like I said, it could go on forever, even beyond the Zeta - Decayed war, as a kind of "Season 2". For example, Zeta might be destroyed and Zaton and his family need to escape, either to the icy north or to the tropical south, where new strange empires may have arisen.
Or Zeta might win and Zaton may be sent by the Queen to make further conquests, for example into the Middle East, while taking advantage of technology liberated from the Decayed, trying to conquer the oil wells.
