She´s the raider that is always mad at everyone. She´s the one who kills Kitty´s "owner".

I remember that guy. Kitty's original owner was such an unlikeable douche LOL - But again that's the kind of guy he is. His death scene when his spine got detached from his body after being kicked off the freeway ledge was pretty amazing ngl

This game is totally incredible...I've already seen it and had no interest. But when I started playing... I was very surprised by the scenes and the perfection of the characters. I absolutely loved it, and I hope it continues with many new possibilities, and congratulations to the developer. waiting for more out of total gratitude.:)

The starting shot has been fired! More than three years have passed since the first upload, and now comes a new chapter on the most popular platform, and we are more than hyped to announce:

Desert Stalker is now available for wish-listing on Steam!

In case you have missed the recent development logs, we not just busy working on the new content, but also finish the final batch of reworked content to present a whole new, remastered and reworked game. From better renders to extra content, restarting the game will be worth it.

And all this will come in one big update for 0.17!

I'll try to answer some potentially common questions below, but if you have any other questions let me know:

Q: Will the Steam version content be different from the Patreon/SubscribeStar version?
A: No, there will not be any additional or exclusive content across different platforms. Supporters on Patreon and SubscribeStar will continue to receive weekly development logs, monthly renders, and more opportunities to participate in the development process.

Q: Will the Patreon/SubscribeStar release schedules be affected after the Steam release?
A: No, the release schedules will remain unchanged.

Q: Why "Early Access"?
A: We've found that seasonal content works better with an on-rails narrative, which doesn't suit our game’s design since we don't have fixed story "choke points." That's why we've opted to release Desert Stalker in Early Access — it's a simpler and more fitting approach for our game.

Q: What will be the Steam update frequency/lifecycle?
A: We don't expect to update the Steam version with every new release, due to the maintenance it would require and because we still want to offer early access as a benefit for our regular supporters. This will also give us time to include up-to-date translations for the Steam updates.

Q: Will the saves be compatible between versions (Steam vs Patreon/SubscribeStar)?
A: That’s the goal, unless a specific technical issue prevents us from ensuring compatibility.

Q: Will the Steam release invalidate my current saves?
A: The Steam release presents an opportunity to upgrade our engine to the next major version (our current Ren'Py version reached end-of-life last May). This means there’s a chance players might need to start over, but we will do our best to avoid that — either through in-game compatibility or by providing an export/import function. We’ll provide more clarity as development progresses.

Had taken an interest in this game for two reasons. First was hearing about it being good. The second and honestly more impactful reason. Was seeing a sig or two showcasing Ain. Though I had no idea about the relation to the MC. Or even the type of game this was. Thinking it another dating VN, with a different coat of paint to push the narrative. Misunderstanding strictly on me of course. Not that either situation bothers me. Game is decent and she was the goal regardless... however.

I do wish we got the chance to establish it ourselves. Unroll that taboo instead of it coming post-alabama'd. Maybe it's because more often then not. You have to work for it in other games and I'm so used to it. But it was honestly jarring seeing that nope. It's not only already a thing, but has been a thing for a time... and it's just a-ok with everyone.

Not here to bash your experience or opinion, just offering a counterpoint.
One of the biggest draws for me was precisely that the relationship was already established and the protagonist didn't have to go through the overused and tedious dynamic of courting/perving on the object of his desire, working his way from first base to sex in what is often a forced and sub par narrative that makes little sense.
I like a good college game or "landlady corruption" game too, but they are a dime a dozen and half the time are badly executed, the protagonist is a wimpy small kid who should fall over at every step on account of his magic dick weighing as much as the rest of him.
This dynamic instead, makes a lot of sense, and was such a breath of fresh air that it's one of the main reasons I became involved in the project at all .
That is, of course, just my take and personal experience of finding the game, not any more valid than yours. I offer it as a possible explanation as to why so many people rate it so highly in their preferences, though probably not the only reason (boobs, anyone?)

Oh it's fine. I'm not so sensitive to believe that anything you said was remotely trying to come at me. I will clarify though that similar to my experience with anime. I haven't played that many VNs to be at the level of anything being tedious for me... yet. So what you and others with more playtime/experience would view as overused. I view as just another average thing. But considering the context of both the world and the MC. Who has enough testosterone to open his own clinic, with his body as the sole supply. I don't think it would've taken anything too complex, to convince her why keeping it in the family is ideal.

But as mentioned before. I had certain misplaced ideas. I was expecting some type of dating VN with the setting as a backdrop. I had no expectations of any type of relation between the two. And I am used to games having you work for the taboo. All self-inflicted but eh. Also! After writing my original comment. I did some self-reflection and came to the conclusion. That I might like the chase a bit more then the payoff. Which I suppose only exacerbated the wish to do it myself. So hey, I potentially learned a bit more about myself in the process.

Yeah I do miss the rawness of those early scenes sometimes. If MC wanted it then he would take it, plain and simple. After all if you have a haram, then act like a man who needs it.
