Does anyone know if the writer for this VN has changed recently, like within the last 2-4 major updates or so? The atmosphere of this game has always been incredible, and the story is also engrossing. But, I have to admit the lude scenes have generally, for me, taken a downturn. The dialogue sometimes feels outside of the established universe, very modern and trope-y; the scenes themselves are sometimes a lot shorter than expected; some characters even act differently, i.e. Ain behaving very weirdly innocent and naive in that sequence with her cousin, when all previous scenes before that is basically the opposite (Shani has typically been the 'innocent' one..).

I guess I understand why the dev might be getting rundown after years of making the same content, lots and lots of girls to make content for etc., but it feels like a completely different writer to me sometimes in the erotic scenes and really takes me out of it No hate. Still look forward to the game, I just hope at some point the dev 'fixes' it. Am I the only one?

I took that as her pretending for her cousin's sake and that Ain was being a mischievous little rascal as per usual, but I admit if my take is accurate then that scene could have been done better.

idk, Ain behaving differently in the scene with her cousin makes sense. It is the first time she is behaving that way with someone outside the household members. Cousins or not, all of Ain's antics have been in front of her mom sister father and their slaves/servants, people she feels safe and comfortable around. Now with a cousin she wants to be close with but has not really seen or known in years, there would be some shyness or maybe emberassment. How could she not consider what her cousin might think, will she think im a slut, not slutty enough. Also take into account that she is often trying to imitate her mother, only to be called out for being immature by her mother and dad. So their is all sorts of excuse for insecurities for Ain.

Ain's first showing to an outsider, one she wants to impress in a way differently than she wants to impress her father, well it would be more weird if she acted perfectly normal. She may be biologically a woman, but she is still mentally just a girl trying to find her way.

Starting the game over... is that really a bad thing? Time consuming sure but, this game might be worth it, especially if an engine update could improve future gameplay/art.
