In addition to Ain's punishment scene not showing up, her "towel" scene isn't proccing at all either. Sleeping with Ain in her room also never unlocks. And Shani's scene on the terrace that leads to sex in the bedroom doesn't seem to want to trigger either. I think there were some others as well, but can't recall right this moment.

I'll continue my play, but seems to me like several of the past scenes have issues triggering, and there have been some problems in the order in which they play out (in my game I managed to visit Asani the first time and get confirmation of Kyra's car reward before heading to Adira).

Also, the "victory lap" scene with the raider duo still has the same dialogs even after Adira's expanded scene where the MC has his way with both sisters. In victory lap, Kyra and MCs dialog mention multiple times how the MC never had sex with Asha and just used her mouth instead. Prior to Adira's expansion that was correct, but it's no longer the case.

Speaking of changed dialogs... has the "general" dialogs been changed? Specifically towards Kitty? I don't recall him ever calling her his property before, but that's what it is now. Was it so we'd feel less bad for killing the dude, and his fate being what it ends up being? I'm not into gratuitous brutality or the more gross shit you can do with people and the girls, but that particular scene did feel like it got "sanitized". Was it, or is that just me misremembering how that dialog went, and it's been that way for a while now?

Note that as someone else pointed out some posts back: Kyra isn't in a cage anymore. That may be the reason Ain's punishment is disabled (or something) for now. That scene plays in the cell where Kyra is held captive in a cage (where she also plays a role).

The scene is still in the gallery however.

When you rewrite a program, the purpose is to improve on previous code while keeping the same functionality. This update completely broke Ain's story progression, it's obvious that the developer didn't even do 1 play test before releasing this which should be the minimum requirement for a BETA.

And it did only applied to the new content, which is the code. The whole game is rewritten in a whole new sets of code which is better and more less tangled than the previous ones. The point of having a BETA test is to know which and which part still getting bugged from that new set of codes to fix it.

So I got my 0.16 saves to work by moving them from the old folder to the new one, but Ain and Shani call me "Mentor" instead of "Dad" and there's no patch on the main pain that i could see. Did I need to start a new game or is this the norm for 0.17?

And yes you should start your game from the beginning if you actually want to see the rework content

Ngl i feel like they fucked it up with whatever they did to filters/light. Some scenes just feel unnatural now, some show issues that were hidden before due to lack of shadows and all that. Im not sure why they made this transition. Looks bad to me.
