Dunno. People read at different speeds. Some people only care about certain game paths. It varies. On Steam, I see people with records hours of around 12 hours to a little over 30. Just depends.

It looks like it's the Steam version that is uploaded here, which is bundled for market. I don't own a Mac, but I suppose another option would be to try to run if from Terminal. Something like:

/path/to/DesertStalker.app/Contents/MacOS/DesertStalker

Replacing /path/to/ with the actual path.

Otherwise, probably need an experienced Mac user to help.

I really don't know how to use the terminal, wich i imagine is pretty typical of mac users haha. But thanks i'll try it, fingers crossed some mac-wizz comes along and can help out

Also don't know much about mac, but in Linux we'd cd to our Desert stalker directory and run the included shell script with ./DesertStalker.sh

So for me it looks like this


I've always been curious if this would work on mac too since it's unix based... Then again if it did, I doubt people would ask for a mac version so often if they could just easily run the shell script so it probably doesn't work.

Including skipped dialogue, a little less than 12 hours for me according to the save screen.

You might be downloading from the wrong place. Check both listed download sites, one is PC only, the other PC/Mac.

Chili's quest is beautiful.

I'm genuinely enjoying the world building. While many parts of it are obviously derivative, there are small things that are really clever and that as a whole make for a unique story that unfortunately is a one of a kind in the Erotic Pornography genre.

Love it. Probably my favorite story in here.

It seems to be a bug with the walkthrough mod. If you have it installed, a bunch of quests won't progress properly, others will start sooner than supposed to and content will be cut.

I don't know if the mod is outdated or something but it broke my game too. I started over without the mod installed and it all worked properly.

I am not far in the game, there is still much desert stalking to do, but I noticed something strange. I don't know if it was mentioned before, there are so many pages in this thread. But when Ain asked to get out with Zaton she asked "Do I have to wear the collar?"



Zaton answered that she don't have to:



And when she it out with Zaton she wears a collar....



Maybe it is corrected in a later version but I am still in version 0.16c

That's more of an accessory, a choker if you will. The collar is gold.

I believe that the choker is meant to serve as a familial ornament. I.e., to help visually depict the fact that Ain is a woman of Zaton's house to show off to new guests that are being hosted by Zaton and Zahra in their household.

A mark of ownership/regalia if you will (for lack of a better classification).
