You did. You asked "why don't you create a converter if it's easy" in the post I replied to. I answered. Trying to get cute doesn't make you look clever, you know. I didn't ask anything about the difficulty of doing this because I already understand it better than you could ever hope to.

Blows my mind that the same people who were complaining when v17 dropped are still complaining about the same thing when they could have finished their new save in 17.1.2 ages ago :ROFLMAO:

I've personally been meaning to do a fully replay of DS for a while now but was holding off until after the update because we all knew old saves were going to break due to the coding rework. That, and I wanted to see the revamped scenes. So I rebuilt my saves the slow way and I finished that weeks ago, then did it again with 17.1.2 to account for bug fixes. These complainers, however, could have held the skip button and caught up to v17 in a matter of minutes... yet instead of doing that, they're still here moaning about their broken saves from v16... :HideThePain:

Is save incompability really such a big deal in this case that people are opening a barrel over it?
Yes it sucks but comeone this isnt something like The Last Sovereign with its 40+ hours of unskippable playtime.
Its 10-15 minutes of clicking the skip-button.
As a plus you even get to skip the generally inferior rewritten scenes and the consequent plot inconsistencies.

Which scenes are rewritten ? have only played the story for the first time 2 days ago.

I tried this when it first came out and I was meh.
Tried it again out of boredom and I have to say I'm enjoying it. Really like how you can be MC and the daughter (absolutely love her character).
Need more of Asha, I love crazy bloodthirsty psychotic subs.

I hope I didn't fucked up making that ex-guard/scavenger girl pregnant but what can I say, you can't put a "impregnate" button in front of me and expect my reptilian brain to ignore it, it had to be done.
Ngl every time I went back to her I expected to find her dead, nailed to a cross with a gaping anus and half her limbs missing...glad that didn't happen.

Jesus, the Zone part is so boring... Way too much thinking and walking. I'm not saying I need fighting and explosions every 2 minutes, but you could cut out a hefty part of this section and not lose anything of value.
Like, the dude meeting us and dying mid-conversation is inconsequential and not surprising at that point in the game.

Not like I kept a list but generally you can tell because of plot inconsistencies and the newer lighting.
Though to give 2 examples that immediately come to mind,there are "Welcome home" and Kyra´s rescue.
In the former originally Ain opened the Gate,leading to Zaton´s warranted outburst and her getting the task of carrying Yuna into the dungeon(where she subsequently screws up by placing the collar key right next to the cage,leading to Yuna´s escape,which is still referenced in her Diary despite the scene now missing).
The original immediately helped in establishing Ain´s naive and irresponsible character while also giving more credence to the later following punishment scene(instead of it just being the Market kidnapping which you would think if anything traumatized Ain and warranted more of a hug than being put in chains).
Also because Zahra now welcomes Zaton at the gate,the following dialogue in the Master Bedroom doesnt flow anymore as it was written with the intention of her greeting Zaton there first.

As for the Kyra scene,the original hit a nice balance of humanizing and monsterizing the decayed,showing both their horrorfying side(the player gets a glimps at a Butcher getting to work)while showing off a certain level of humanity(one of the surviving decayed going mad at the death of his wife,only staring at her skull)and even a certain level of civility(the boss behaved much more like a military leader who you could threaten into withdrawing instead of the only option being his death).

There is more like Fairy´s slaver dialogue being cut down(though the original was kinda odd)or Zaton saving a slave girl instead of Slink and some accompanying information about Stalkers in Yuna´s midnight meeting.
Probably better to just grab 0.16 and having a look for yourself.

Now that I think about it,where did the Zahra massaging Ain-repeatable event go?

Can someone please explain? Why did the production team change the plot of the Rotten Lair mission in Old Cairo, and why did they change the events of the Midnight market to become thieves? This change to the core of the story is huge.
