Hey everyone, I hope the new year is treating you well so far! I have started taking care of old to-do's in the code as well as working on a little bit of new content. This is part of a string of (very) small events continuing Emilia's arc. In every one of those small household events, you can decide how you treat her, which will eventually shape her role in your household... or in your personal life.

What else is coming in 0.18? Reworks will no longer play a time-consuming role. Those listed should have been in 0.17 but weren't quite finished yet. As hinted at in the New Year’s post, Ain is most likely getting her market scene. And then there is the Queen... She must be frustrated after that last incident. But more on that when we actually get there.

Is this devlog for 0.18 or for content to be added to 0.17?

Good time of day, just wanted to ask if i understand the current state of the game correctly. It's been in development for several years, then 0.17.1.1 version was the early access steam release version pretty much, and it's gonna be still 3-5 years at least until the game is actually done, is that correct so far?

Finally some Emilia. She´s been on hold for too long. I also hope it´s not just about her next update, but we´ll see about that.

Those are market builds, and they won't work natively unless you download it directly from Steam.

You need to either allow it through gatekeeper, or give it permissions.

Alternatively, build your own Mac build with the SDK.

Here is more information about market builds and a quick guide for making a Mac build, I mean it's the samething I do when I make compressed builds.

I've tried my damnest to rebuild the game or launch it from the SDK directly as I've done for many other games without a Mac distribution, but the game just won't load. It crashes when trying to parse the very first script basement.rpy. I'm using the exact same Ren'Py version as listed in log.txt.

I purchased the Steam version to support the devs and decided to start a new game there. Is anyone else disappointed with the two remade scenes of Kyra being rescued from the decayed and the midnight market scene? I have no idea why those would need to be remade, but they are much worse than the original ones. I even replayed .16 just to make sure I wasn't remembering it through rose colored glasses and I was stunned at how much better the scenes and dialog was compared to the same scenes in the Steam version.

Just curious is the version here the same as the Steam?

Everything that is connected with this game can be avoided! As for the content <sharing>, you just share some of your harem with a friend, as well as he shares with you, which is quite logical...

There is no ntr here, as it happens in some swing games

For some reason, this isnt allowing me to load my previous saves before the update.
I havent updated in it in a little while, but still remember where i left off when I saved it last, which was a very long playthrough.
Now I have no saves at all, nor can I copy and paste ones from my previous download since the folder no longer exists.
So what are my options here, not that I mind starting over, since the story and renders ware top tier, making this one of my favorite play throughs, it might be a better option for start from a few updates previous, and I couldn't say which one with full confidence, since I don't recall the exact number.
