Looks like the Queen has become comfortable enough to not worry too much about her dress code... Either way, she's going to give us directives on where to head specifically. And then we’re off again - leaving her alone in her golden castle.

Also, here's some previews for the leftover parts from last update's rework.

That girl does look like Shani, I don´t see who else might be. Her and the MC really have special privileges now. I still wonder if the bath scene is at the Queen´s palace or at some other place. Will something happen with the Queen before she sends off in our mission or will she just tease us with a reward for when we comeback?

I could realistically see Zahra participating as she seems entertained by the reality that Zaton has power over the queen, as well as Merneith possessing an obvious crush on Zaton cute. In addition, Zahra sees the opportunity to get some payback against Merneith who acted disrespectful towards Zahra and her household when the Queen unexpectedly visited their home.

My second choice would be Emilia, mainly due to her wishing to express gratitude towards the Queen for pairing her with someone as considerate and dutiful as Zaton.

On help+ Shani is kinda more selfless and thinking more of others first, showing mercy and more humility. On Self+ she's more self centered, thinking of herself first, and not really showing mercy.

I'm in agreement with you about keeping it to MC/Merneith/Shani for now and the potential for bringing Zahra in later.

I do disagree about the "ideal" outcome for the Queen though, keeping in mind that on my playthrough I kissed the ring to play the long game. For me, part of what makes her interesting is the contrast between her authority and poise in the role of Queen compared to her inexperience and submissiveness to Zaton in regards to sex. If she were to become totally submissive to Zaton and completely lose the willingness to stand up to Zaton even in matters of rule, the relationship between them would lose a good chunk of appeal to me. There's plenty of other women in the game willing to do anything Zaton demands.

My preferred outcome would be one where Zaton continues to become her closest and most trusted advisor, one she deeply respects and is more likely to listen to than any others, but where she still retains her own thoughts and authority in matters of ruling. That would still give Zaton an immense amount of political influence, but still preserve Merneith's personality when it comes to being Queen. But then in private, she lets herself go and willingly submits to Zaton (and probably others like Zahra), and loves every minute of it.

No RenPy AVN game is fully animated and such visual novels are always based on static renders. Only sex scenes are usually animated, where such animation may alternate with the static renders included in the scene. However, Desert Stalker boasts that animation is more widely represented here, and you can observe, for example, some animations related to the general plot of the game, not just directly to sexual actions.

My MC don't want to destroy the Queen morals and personality, because he is a good heart person and he want the best outcome for Zeta and his people. And he want for the queen and the elders to see that old ways will not help Zeta to progress and survive on the war that is coming. They need alliance and friendship with other folks.

A threesome with Zahra and the Queen, is definetely a good thing, because Zahra is an experienced woman and she has a lot to teach to the young queen on how to be a true ruler(Zahra is the queen of my MC's harem).

About Nadia, she already show that she is not a children anymore and she is now a growing woman with desires. But, she still have a lot to learn and who is better than her mother to teach her things. Because of that, a future threesome with Nadia and Rabiah will be mostly fitable for the job my MC has in mind. But, of course,that my MC still need work to do on Rabiah, his sister in law and former girlfriend.

I'm with you.

At the moment, the Queen's ruthlessness (even if that's mostly a front) and unpredictability makes her interesting.
The danger that she poses, even to Zaton himself, is attractive.
It also makes a very interesting contrast with her submissive tendencies.

It's like toying with a caged lioness. On one hand she's in a cage and you are giving her food. On the other hand you know that she might pounce when you give her the chance, even if that means her eventual death (given that she's in a cage and you give her food). It's the risk that makes it interesting.

Politically speaking, I don't see Zaton as a political mastermind but more as a great soldier and perhaps general. He's too blunt for the political machinations that are required if he wants to outmanoever the Elders. Zahra, on the other hand, does have that level of political insight. I would therefore eventually like to see Zahra get closer to the Queen to aid her with the political game (which is something that the Queen is not bad at herself), so that Zaton can stay focussed on the military aspects.
