Had a similar reaction when I first gave DS a serious go. It's really rare that you got really solid major characters while also having many minor characters that are very interesting, desirable, and exciting. Not only do I look forward to more variety of scenarios with character's we've already had sex with, but there's also so many yet-to-be-explored characters to look forward to. Nothing hits the spot like Desert Stalker does at the moment.

To be honest Desert Stalker and Superhuman are the only games on this site where i was completely invested in the story with the sex being a plus. Its a shame games like these are so rare here. Also no grind at all was a bonus for me.

Generally I'm more interested in the stories than the visuals. There are a few games with good enough stories that I find myself wishing there were no sex scenes (usually because they aren't that good, too long, or too many). In DS the sex scenes are so good that I'd be fine if this was a story with no sex, or if it was all sex and no story. Because most of them are bad . That's unfair, many of them are "ok, I guess".

There is going to be something with the Queen in the next update, but it probably won´t be a big scene. Still, something is always good.

I'm not too hopeful that the brief encounter between Zaton and the Queen will bring us anything sexy this time around (I really want to be wrong about this), and so for now my expectations are more focused on the event “Shani enters the bath”.

Dev is still keeping quiet about who exactly will be there, but if it's another meeting in the royal therms (fingers crossed), then we can expect a super-hot scene featuring our assertive Shani and Merneith, who needs to realize that she will now be obeying not only Zaton..

I'm not sure if that was sarcasm on your part, but if it was, I would like to remind you that it was Shani's idea to attract/subjugate the Queen to Zaton and arrange everything so that she and MC could entertain themselves with Merneith as they pleased.

Given the above, it seems quite logical that the time has come for Shani to assert her superiority over the Queen (for now, in a sexual-role capacity), and I think she is quite capable of. Ofc, this could be done as an option for those interested in role-playing power exchange games.

At the same time, the second option may be a more vanilla choice, in which Shani and the Queen remain roughly equal in this "love triangle". But personally, I find the idea of their (Shani and Zaton) joint domination over the "almighty" Queen incredibly exciting.

Not necessarily. The render, in which the Queen sits on the table, dressed in a semi-transparent robe and smiling seductively at Shani, speaks volumes. Personally, I think it hints at a continuation in the baths. Although, yes, of course, she could well have been smiling at Zaton.

I can't say for sure that these will be the royal therms, but I hope so...Besides, why make a whole separate event out of a routine visit to the "regular home bath" when it could simply be classified as another Home event (which will also be included in the new update)...Well, let's see what dev has actually prepared.

Yep, I think its just getting to that point where people are subconsciously wondering where the update is because its reaching that 3-4 month mark. Desert Stalker has such a consistent dev cycle and update. So I always get a bit confuse when I see some people say the dev is milking the game. Some game release once a year and lacks content. Desert Stalker is in a league of its own

I believe he has a small team. He does most of it but they help him with writing and coding

That´s true, Ivy needs a bit more development before anything happens with her and MC. I feel like she will need an update nearly entirely dedicated to her, the same way Ain had and Shani is about to have too. One of my very small criticisms of this game is that since our visit to the cave with Ivy, she could have had a few sprinkles of development here and there, small bits of info to develop her story. She seemed like she was going to be such a big character in the beginning that maybe that´s why we are so starved for her. I know that´s one of the reasons for me.

As much as I would appreciate another scene of Shani and MC playing with the Queen, I don´t think that will happen.
My guess is that the Queen encounter will be small, maybe before Shani and MC go on their mission, and if there´s something sexy, it will probably be a blowjob or something. The Queen is probably eager to start exploring her sexuality even more and she might want to try doing that to the MC.

As for the Shani bath scene, as someone else said, I think it´s in MC´s home. At the very least, i´m pretty sure it´s not at the palace. With that said, I´m fairly certain there is no Shani and Queen joint sexy time in this update. I would love it, though.

I made it myself, using the splash (menu) screen from the current ver 0.18.4 as a basis.
