What exactly don't you understand? If you mean her PC, there are many diaries in it that tell about their (the elves') past, and each of them reveals a part of their history in this post-nuclear world.
Yeah her diaries about the elves, can you give me tldr about what implied happened to ivy and the elves. I was half ass reading it without understand it but now I'm curious.

Can someone explained to me Ivy lore entries in the cave, I don't quite understand it
In a nutshell, the data entries logged in on the PC at Ivy's base of operations go into the lore behind how she and one of her companions survived after the apocalypse and in the current Zeta world.

In the logs you can see various events referenced and some scrubbed out diary entries that have been sensitized....Likely we will find out later once Ivy's questline progresses further

No real elves but being for example former japanese scientists who survived the blasts but got altered by the surroundings and the aftermath which rendered them living for longer than most people so they were able to observe the rise and fall of aftermath civilizations.

I am paraphrasing here from memory but thats what I got out of the diaries , but I played last time 2024

Could be spoilers to some, so put most of it hidden under the spoiler tag, click it to see it:
Ivy and the main character are in the cave and they are reading from something similar to a laptop, a portable computer that still seems like our oldest computers that could only display text, not images.

Desert Stalker [v0.18.3] [Zetan]Translation into 19 languages and AI-generated audio.

(19 languages support bilingual display with English}
Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Turkish, Thai, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Polish, Italian, Indonesian, Hindi, German, French, Dutch, Arabic, Taiwanese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese

Usage:

AI-generated audio isn’t perfect, but it’s good enough for non-native English speakers. However, adding voice acting makes it feel like a completely different game. If you don’t need voice acting, there’s no need to download the voice files.

Please make sure to back up your game and save files.After extracting, place the files into the "game" folder.Since the translation files are quite large, loading may take a bit longer.Inside the tl folder, you can keep your preferred language.

Some languages require specific fonts to display correctly. After changing the font, a restart is required for the changes to take effect.if do not work you can choice “common font”

Appreciate the language support champ, but the AI voices are a net negative, they completely break the immersion (not to mention adding words that are not part of dialogue, weird pauses, weird phrasing, etc.). Quite frankly I wouldn't recommend anyone to use these voices in their current state.

Sorry but as non native speaker reading comprehension is sometimes quite hard, although in this case is more lazyness to scroll through the files of the old computer in game.
That's the point of reading, you learn that way :HideThePain:
No, they definitely elves. There's not a word about any "Japanese scientists" in the diaries, lol.
As far as we know they aren't Tolkien's elves, they're mutants born from the war like the decayed and others.

Your mileage may vary doing this cause I don't know shit about Renpy but I had to replace lines 49-70 in the screens.rpy file with
Code:
init python:
    # Fallback if no font has been set in persistent storage
    if persistent.text_font:
        font_choice = persistent.text_font
    else:
        font_choice = "gui/fonts/default.ttf"

    style.default.font = font_choice
    gui.text_font = font_choice
    gui.button_text_font = font_choice
    gui.name_text_font = font_choice
    gui.interface_text_font = font_choice
    gui.choice_button_text_font = font_choice
    renpy.style.rebuild()
And then put the fonts into game>gui>fonts

I already progress far in to the story and I still didn't encounter the artifact that can inform the past.
