Shani is indeed a second MC, you can play from her POV at some moments and make decisions for her. She's bi if the player wants her to be. She can pursue females when she's not with Zaton, like the Queen or Mandisa. I don't think the dev will make her pursue a male interest though, but I would appreciate it.

If so I want to put money toward the Patreon is why I ask. I've been burned by abandonware and am not a wealthy fellow.
I want this story to run to completion. Fuck, I want sequels in this universe. I have not been this engrossed by a narrative in over a decade.

It's boggling to me how you can throw Fallout, STALKER, Mad Max, and a pinch of comic book tropes into a blender with some Egyptian Seasoning Mix and it comes out fucking gourmet, but here we are.

Side Note: If Sobek isn't an off-brand Killer Croc with splashes of Warhammer 40K Ork War-boss thrown in, I will be VERY disappointed.

The game has a 3 to 4 months update cycle, and it is actively developed, and there are no signs of burn out or anything, like that, as well it is a developing team, this all is no guarantee, I know but facts that maybe help you with your decision.
It is as well published in Steam if that is more for your liking.

How’s our poor trio going to get out of this situation...
I will probably need a few weeks to complete this scene (the dark place they’re in is just one part of it) but I'll try to diversify the upcoming dev logs by showing some other scenes that are coming in 0.20!
Also, this time around I’m writing the code step by step alongside the rendering process. The goal is to spread out the workload more evenly, reduce the last-minute crunch, and leave more time for polishing text and fixing typos.

I really hope there's a spicy scene with Shani and the Thugs, the seduce or escape is fun and all but I wanna see more spicy scenes, hence why i think it'll be a choice option to see Shani get banged by the Thugs or she just magically escapes.

Maybe Shani and the Queen will be able to sweet talk their captors into buying sometime, and that might require some entertainment for them. They could decide to give the raiders something to look at and while that´s happening Zaton, with or without help, could surprise the raiders from behind and take them out.
Or Shani can just decide to let them fuck her if it means staying alive. What I´m counting on is that it will be left to the player to choose what she does.

The game is Post-Apoc, there is going to be rape. Also what makes it a good game is it also give the MC a light and dark route to follow, albet the Dark route is fairly mild in some aspecs.

It´s also worth noting that every rape scene in the game is a choice. You can always not do it and I would say you are often reward for not doing it.

Or maybe she'll be more like the MC. A sexual stalker.

I´d be down with that. If her father can, why can´t she? I don´t mean she will start fucking and sucking every dick in the desert, but she can use her assets to get advantages. She does this if she´s the one going to the market.

I could definitely see Shani becoming a femme fatale type.
