Just started and seems like a really great game though I feel like it would be much better complete, do y'all think I should wait for its eventual completion or should I just play it as it is now? does it look like its like half way complete or 8% by the end of this update?

Dev update 06.02.2022

This week I've started story-boarding some more scenes that will be in the upcoming update in between rendering the ones currently underway.
Aside from that, as I've discussed a bit on Discord, I've been approached for cross-promotions for and by other creators in the future, which I think it will be beneficial, so I decided to try it out.
The promoted games might either be similar to DS or be something entirely different, but either way it should help to get the word out for this game and maybe get some of you interested in other games. Rest assured that I do not plan on spamming those anyway.
So tomorrow will be the first one which will be something entirely different from our game, stay tuned.

I have no idea what you mean by "hive" mission. What is this hive or did I possibly do it and am just missing the lingo?

The Hive is related to that group of mutants that Ivy (looks like an Elf) takes you too. There is a mission involving them.

Can someone tell me if I have hit a glitch in the game? I have completed everything in the latest update "except". I have an exclamation mark on the map, but there is nothing other than home for me to click on. Is there a Glitch or something I missed?

to finish this quest you should go where it says mutants in the first image
then at the exclamation point in the lower left corner in the second image
and choosing "the hive" in the third image completes the quest
if you've already done that you have some strange bug in the game

I'm usually very reserved about making comments and giving praise. At first I was hesitant about this game/novel - and in retrospect I really don't know why (laughable; but like anything you have to be in the mood for it). Having now played it, I would say if you don't have an open mind, this is not for you. In short, enjoying the survivalist story thus far, a lot going on.

Ultimately, I'm finding it to be a good production (exceeding most) and visceral - a moral compass in uncertain times, you choose. The sound tracks are the coup de grace really setting the stage, and the array of character archetypes. The art work pulling it all together, is commendable.

I had attempted before to play this game and i'm not sure why i quitted it right after a few minutes. I think the setting felt too weird. Then i was surpised by all the fuss and positive opinions of the fans and i went for a second attempt yesterday.

Oh boy.

This is quite a project. It's the ultimate male power fantasy without being lame and cheesy, characters are compelling and well written, for as weird as it can be, the setting is rather vivid and coherent, the ladies are top cute and if more side quests are implemented and the day management gets more flexible it could be the maybe the first succesfull attempt to make a sandbox visual novel.

Indeed, good job devs.

Sometimes we get burnt out or maybe not in the mood for some games, but glad you enjoyed your experience.
I can say from 2021 this was one of the dark horse entries to have graced us and lets hope we get to enjoy playing it.

By the way i wonder if the Elf character was influenced by Gally during the "Tuned" arc of the manga Gunnm (Battle Angel Alita). There is a lot of resembrance, but it might be a coincidence.



Hard to fine a decent colored version but even the colors tend to match.

Depending on when you tried it too, I heard the intro used to be different and not as good as it is now. I never played it until relatively recently so I'm not sure how much it changed but maybe that has something to do with it too?

That's about when I did too. I had been putting off giving it a try for a long time and just decided to give it a go in December as well.

I think the thing that finally pushed me to give it a try was that I was tired of all the same old high school/college games with loser MCs who still get the girls because "porn logic." I really wanted something with a competent MC who could kick ass and felt like the kind of guy who would be able to get whatever woman he wanted. This is one of the few games that has that, and it was refreshing.

There have been a few changes along the way (including the intro) but it has never been anything too drastic. I liked the original just fine, but the game is definitely making improvements and getting more cinematic as it moves along. DS earned its spot as one of the top games on F95.

Nadia has changed a lot since the shy girl I remember from when she used to come over to play with Ain. Seeing her all grown up reminds me a lot of her mother, back when we were younger. She has the same energy, wild streak and adventurous spirit.
Growing up in a remote village, under the roof of such a bore as Omar, she must have felt limited and stifled. I bet she's making the most of her newfound liberty here in Zeta. Omar will have a hard time trying to control her now. I guess her knowing she is not his daughter doesn't help either.
I wonder if Rabiah sees herself in Nadia like I do...

Poor Omar, MC is going to cuck the hell out of him. His wife, his "daughter," his servants, and whatever else happens to be walking around his home when MC visits.

That aside, Nadia is a great addition to the cast. Love that hairstyle and her easy access mini skirt outfit.
