Dev update 20.02.2022

Not much to report this week, other than the fact that ancient egyptian / medieval textures sometimes give me a hard time to be consistent in render quality. That's one disadvantage in not doing a slick modern age game.
That said, remember her?

I must have missed a post or there was not one reading from page 1 through 216, and not seen Where you unlock the bathroom scene Unless I am missing something somewhere I never got the option to use bathroom. One post says that is how you get the gallery unlock for that picture. Unless I read incorrectly, and in case some one has not played or doesn't want spoiler to my question for the part I thought was where you got the unlock at added in spoiler tag bottom. If I misread the one post I saw on how it unlocks please let me know, after 3 run throughs different choices no unlock as yet.

all you need for the bathroom scene is to pay the mutants with the statue for the elf girl early game, then on a mission for the mutants youll meet them again and since youre on good terms theyll invite you to where the scene happens.

Hey everyone,

You may have noticed I did not rush out a post when we hit the 1000th patron. In fact, rather than just making a special render to mark the occasion, I thought of giving you a bit of insight on what to expect going forward.

Since the beginning, my aim was to create a more atmospheric VN, hoping that people would like what I wanted to show and how to show it. Since then, we've come a considerable way and I always try to improve and try new things that I think will benefit the game.

Your generosity played a very big part in this, allowing me to invest in better hardware, resources, and content (music/sounds/props to name a few) and -most importantly- enable me to focus on the game. For this, I really thank you.

Now, let's talk about the game!

What you have seen so far has been in large part worldbuilding and laying out the factions, the characters and a few locations. Real story progress however is yet about to happen.

Shani being sent to the Zone is a nexus event that will step up the game's plot. Things will start to get interesting here. As you can see from the ingame questlog, the Queen's quest as well as Abrax's are dependent on what will happen here.

I aim to give this part of the game the atmosphere I feel it needs. There are a few new things I want to try here and there to make playing the game more interesting also from a pure adventure gaming/ plot perspective. This however requires a lot of new environments, planning, posing and thoughtful consideration.

It's a challenge for sure, but I am very excited to tackle it.

Yes, Asha and Kyra will return, and yes, their content will be more than just a "hold tab to skip to the sexy part" scene.
That said, the raiders will not be part of the next update yet. But when we do bring them back, you can expect them to stick around.

Some characters are, and have always been, too interesting for me to have them "just be part of a group / side quest / faction arc".
So for example, next to her involvement with the mutant faction, Ivy will have her own arc, together with her friend.

The game has been, from the get go, developed with two main focuses, the adventure/ storyline side being one and the house/ city side being the other.

E.g. Nadia and Fairy fall under the latter. Over the next updates we will focus not just on showing more skin, but on developing their backgrounds as well. We will learn more about Kateryna's talents, and what her long term goals might be.

All in all, I personally am excited to be creative and find ways to tell all those stories (and show all these NSFW scenes), to continue the things I have been doing for the past year.

I hope this has given you a slight idea of what will come over time, and I am curious as to what you are most interested in, what aspects of the game, the plot and the general environment you are most intrigued by. Let me know in the comments!

1) Ain is immediately available, yes...
2)Shani is not. There is a fair degree of build-up/forbidden fruit dynamic in her relationship with Zaton... and she only becomes fully available to him in the last update, nr 8... so I am not quite sure what you have been playing.


The lack of (or rather, distinct and unusual circumstances of) "build up" in the sexual content within the family is due to 2 primary factors.

1) you don't start the game as a fresh faced noob who has to yet build up a rapport with their immediate family. you are well integrated, the head of the house, the women in your family love you. What you are looking for could eventually be the subject of a prequel or a flashback...it's just not where the game starts.
2) even if we did do a flashback or a prequel, you would probably not get an arch of "I can't be with her because that's bad so I have to get there step by step"... because that's simply not how the society in which the game takes place works.
Sexuality is much more open, liberated and varied. relationship, both in the family and outside are much quicker to blossom, driven by a high mortality rate and a winner takes all model of society. Sexual proclivities inside the family are not taboo to begin with, so it's a lot more normal for that to happen and, consequently, less complicated to get there.


I have mentioned this before but... think of Zeta as a society of bonobo chimps. Sex is used as a social lubricant, as a way to defuse conflict, a currency, to establish relations, displaying affection and mutual care, establish rank, in general having fun together.
so.. a lot less taboo and easier to come by, and virtually no scandal.
there are exceptions and rules that are baked in the setting, based primarily on social status and power dynamics, whether it be social or physical power.

The way of the outlaw - you fuck or you get fucked. MC is fucking the girls who would otherwise fuck him.
That one we get a little easier, already fucked us a couple of times being herself, so MC fucks some sense
into her. The power our wife has is immense in this game. MC is the badass girls want in them pronto.
The power dynamic was also like that, should anyone actually read their bedroom banter.
Then again, MC is a citizen of the only civilized society in the game - he has a queen and follows.
For any and all noobs not having seen Rome or gladiator or ever read shogun/greek ancient history, anyone not a citizen was immediatelly a slave, to do as the citizen pleased.
MC is the citizen in this story, he be the only power house wherever he goes outside his city state walls.
The ones that are directly drawing power form the queen are untouchable and have immense power.
MC is a direct subject and cutting razor of the queen, any and all girls fawn over such a pillar of power.

I have tried to translate the game 100% of the texts, but maybe some of them have escaped me and some of them are untranslated due to the complexity of the game. If you see any bug please let me know.

Wow, I absolutely adore Ivy and love that she's getting her own arc.
Looking very much forward to Shani's quest in the Zone, and am fairly interested in the Raiders sisters and Kateryna's arcs.

Though I am a little bit surprised that the Queen is not yet mentioned (no arc for her yet? )
