yeah it isn't truely abandoned but it also isn't being proactively worked on,
the dev mention IRL problems slowing him down earlier this year, it seems to have taken a toll and as off now remain unresolved.

so IMO,this has very much turned into a side/hobby project and we shouldn't expect 2-4 updates a year, at best 1 a year.
on the 30th of september the dev said "very soon" but i doubt that means this month,maybe not even in november.

this VN isn't dead or abandoned ,its just moving at a snails pace currently

You have to add that, if I’m not mistaken, the dev had to redo several renders from the previous update to “fix” the protagonist’s hairstyle. Also, the dev tends to disappear (at least from Patreon) between updates, so the fact that there’s no sign of activity isn’t that unusual either.
